They feeding the bad meal worms. They good, but I hear that soldier fly larvae have more calcium. These are great for chickens/birds and their eggs. I wonder how the bat would do?

I love wildlife and worry about our wild animals with urban growth. I especially love coyotes , who are so intelligent and I always pray that people will educate themselves about wildlife and behave more intelligently about the needs they have,

Bats really are misunderstoon creatures. I mean ...when they live in rooftops near you ...they can be little loud party-goers, but they are so cute and actually enjoy eating pests.

Dont brown bats often carry rabies?
@cayenne37
@cayenne37 5 ай бұрын
just 0.5 to 1% of wild bats carry rabies... the "6%" of rabies positive bats statistic comes from the total bats submitted for testing, which is a biased metric because typically it's only bats that already appear ill that get submitted for testing. you might think brown bats carry rabies often because they're one of the most common bat species in the US.

About 0.1 - 1% of bats do. Nevertheless, see how she is wearing a leather glove? Also, as a wildlife worker she has certainly had pre-exposure prophylaxis. The general public should never attempt to handle or rehabilitate bats. However, should you find yourself having to deal with removing one from your house, leather gloves are a great choice because they can’t bite or scratch you through them.
