We were involved in a terrible accident with my father's Fuego. The entire family was in the car when it was smashed between two giant trucks. When I opened my eyes, I saw my sister lying straight between the windshield and the dashboard. Remarkably, none of us were injured. We were pulled out one by one from the wreckage and soon realized that everyone around us was crying. They thought we were all dead. When I turned back to look at the wreck, I couldn't believe what I saw. The car was only a quarter of its original size. To us, that car is nothing short of a miracle.

I've never understood how engineers don't understand.....viz...smaller engine....rev the shit out of it...because you have to ( we all don't live on salt flats) ...it burns more fuel...so much more in fact ..that a larger engine with more torque uses the same amount,of fuel (or less) ....if we ALL had a small engine in traffic...all good ..wexall accelerateat snail pace....but we don't...with aerodynamic drag the same, ( smaller doesn't mean less drag) ...then we can graph small engine versus anything you like... mass, tyre friction, aerodrag, specific fuel consumption. Small engine... notta workaa...

Hmm... I was born in -92. To me the technology peaked around 2000. Windows XP was probably the first big new thing that I truly hated and wanted to fail so I could stick with good old tech. I guess that's kind of my life ever since, I have a big house in the middle of nowhere and family, and keep buying cheap old stuff to fix, so when I get home from work I can feel 20th century isn't just history fading away.

Loved my 2004 V70 D5, 15 years later I got a 2014 S80 D5, felt like a lower quality car.

Do not say croissants are french, because even in France they do not say that. Great vid, thanks. I have an idea for a great car for you. What about an Audi S5 convertible? Its practical. It has 4 seats, big enough to carry suitcases for a holiday & if you need to carry some long length's of wood from you DIY store you can drop the roof. If you want a bit of fun, put your foot down & it will bring a smile to your face. If you want frugality, it 'will' do 36 MPG if your on a long journey & take it easy & the road tax is not too bad either. All the best.....

The new Model 3 sounded so good, the changes to the suspension really caught my attention. Unfortunately there was the gear change on the screen and worse the crazy turn signals on the steering wheel (like on a motor bike but haptic). With all the market research and customer clinics they can do, surely they would have realized that these were a yoke steering wheel type off errors? Tesla develop the most efficient EVs, do some great innovation, but they seem to always shoot themselves in the foot with an idea that goes too far.

I love my 2008 XC70 D5, even at it's weight of 2 tons it's suprisingly quick, it is a real joy to drive once you start using the turbo more, and the AWD of course hasn't left me stranded on unplowed roads or deep snow

My 2008 XC70 had a recall on the restraint system, i think it was the buckle itself, i never got a time to bring the car in but i suspect they did it when i turned it in for a service since it has to do with the seatbelt i would've guessed that it is a big deal

What was strange about the AM sunroof? Is the answer that the sunroof looks good and the rest of the car doesn't.

Umm, you could have had the heat on and still made it to the airport with over 80%! Your drive was only about an hour long and there's no way the car would use 6% of battery capacity to drive 40 miles.
