Will it set up hard in Summer months, or is that not hot enough? Also, how much did it cost you per ton?
@Tonyswoodshop2 күн бұрын
@@KeoniKoa depends if it’s in full sun or shade and hours much it gets driven on. it does set up pretty hard. Certainly not perfect. It will still have some loose gravel on top. A fair price for millings is somewhere around $15per TN.

I built a ramp last week on the hottest day of the year. Very similar to your design. It was a hot day. Then made two 36" doors that over lay the front of the shed. I was so hot I gave up and finished it the next morning! 25 years ago I made as cheap shed from a Big Box Store kit and have had to fix it a few times. 2 weeks ago my son and I finished a 18 by 12 shed with 1 foot over hang. This project got all the right stuff into it. No short cuts built like a house would be. Keep up the good work.

I got the grooved because it was cheaper. That’s the main reason I put the board all the way around. To hide the grooves from the side.

Really nice. Did you use spacers between the deck boards? You must of measured precisely in order to not have to rip that last deck board. I’m about to replace mine that rotted after 7 years. I’m going to use 2x6 and attempt what you did. I’m just not good at cutting those angles on the side like you did and the outline of the deck boards.
@Tonyswoodshop11 ай бұрын
It’s best to use a little space to allow for expansion and contraction. I did have to rip the last piece. 2x6 in reality is 1.5x5.5 you can measure how long you want and round to the nearest 5.5” the outline is 45 degree angles at the bottom. Make sure you ground contact treated lumber.
