250$ for a perpetual license. 7$ plan makes sure you can't use it commercially. 10$ a month to do everything except use custom integrations. But if you want to use custom integrations then its 89$ a month. And yes that's per person. I suggest making your own tools because all these subscriptions will start to add up. Look up custom tool chains. PS: forgot to mention they make sure to charge you 20$ instead of 10$ after the first 3 months.

@@polygonflow yeh i’m use try 30days now, I have some suggestions like can dash sculpt or apply material to the engine's original landscape and heightmap from third party software like world creator or Gaea?

@@MinhHieuneh There is no sculpt tools right now no. You should be able to apply material through Dash to UE landscape and third party landscapes. But right now it does not work to afterward edit the material with Material Edit tool, but we are working on it! :)

hi , the new verison(1.7) has changed the UI of proximity distance and the combine button. Would you please tell me where are they and how to use the same functions? ThX a lot

Yes there has been some changes, if you mean in Surface Scatter, we have both Proximity Mask and Object mask if you scroll down, inside both there is a distance setting you can use. Not sure what you mean by combine button? Could you explain a bit more? :)

We have had that in mind when building the tools, so it works great for game dev! :) But, Dash is right now better for smaller environments or parts of bigger environments, than massive open worlds. I.e. scattering trees in a massive open world might be very heavy, depending on your PC. For each release we make we try to improve our optimization of course. It is free to try, so please do and let me know if you have any feedback, it is very very welcome!

Hi - First of all thank you! love using your tool. I'm trying to experiment with the vines tool and am having issues importing atlasses/getting Dash to compute/recognize the files are atlasses. I'm running 5.3 and 5.4. Any suggestions?

We are using GPT-4o in the backend, you don't need to have a GPT subscription or think of anything special. It is just a big upgrade on the backend system for our tagging solution. :)

Hello Polygonflow team! I know that animation is probably not the niche you guys want to target, but it would be awesome to see a feature, where I'd be able to connect the procedural tool menus to the sequencer. That way I could create animations of organically growing vines and other objects. With this feature creators could create animations, where the environment would build itself :).

I have two questions.. How do we add sound effects for a person when he walks on plants, we hear a sound, and when he walks on wood or ceramic, the sound changes, and how, if he reaches a point that has been designed, reveals or custom effects are implemented with these great tools? My second question: I am working on making a game like PUBG and Call of Duty for mobile and computer. Can I rely on the tool with the computer and the application?

Unfortunately, we have not added sound effects to Dash yet! But will note down the request for it ! :( Cool! Yes Dash works for game creation! It works best for detailing smaller environments or smaller parts compared to full large open worlds, just so you know! :)

If I make an unreal scene by using Dash and uninstall the plugin. Will that scene still work or corrupt the scene?

It'll work just fine! You won't be able to parametrically edit it with Dash, but everything you've built will be there as you left it.

I don't know man, 12 months of upgrades is good and all but you should provide a way for perpetual licenses to work with new versions of UE5 even after the 12 months periods (without new features of course).

We'll try to do that, but it's very hard to do because sometimes we drastically change internal systems to work with newer UE versions, and at that point you can't just ship new UE versions support without also shipping new features. Dash 2.0 will be available for everyone who buys 1.X fyi, as it's a recent enough update that asking you to pay again so soon wouldn't make sense.

@@daniel20926 We don't have any simulation tools at all actually. But if you want static group of assets/characters, we do have a tool called Grid Scatter and another tool called Volume Scatter that could be useful for placing those characters. But nothing for simulating them no :)
