A 27 inch scale version is being released soon with the gloss finish though. If they do make a matte one like yours, I want to get it. You've convinced me. Great video🤘

Bought this exact model a couple years ago. An absolute unit. It's the one that convinced me you don't need to spend 2000 for a good insturment... I upgraded the pots. Did copper shielding. After that I liked it as much as my strandberg. Only got rid of it because I didn't need two 8 strings. Was my first harley benton. But it definitely won't be my last. (Eyes are on a TE 62cc

Im just starting guitar and was thinking about getting the epiphone kes paul player pack that includes the LP speciall ii and cost $280 but was also looking at this guitar because its on sale for $130 at the moment. As a beginner with aome knowledge and messes around with some fenders back in the day would you recommend this guitar or should i just get the Epiphone player pack?
@guitarfascination26 күн бұрын
I've never tried the entry-level Epiphones. The Donner looks very similar to the Epiphone Les Paul Special in terms of build type. It may just come down to how much you want the amp and accessories in the Epiphone pack. I'm not a fan of packs as I find the amps to be disappointing when it comes to tone.

Hi there. Using the tried and true method of "me+guitar - me", it seems the guitar is 3.6 kilograms. Google tells me that is 7.93 pounds. I hope that helps.

cheers from the kiwi land! By the way, hows the action on this guitar? And how does it compare when playing with ec1000
@guitarfascination2 ай бұрын
Kia ora! I hope I've remembered that correctly 🙂 The action on this guitar is incredibly good. Very low, but not so low that I get any fret buzz. I can't say that I've played the EC1000, so I can't compare.

i have played on and off bass for a year, and it's just not my style. I'm curious, i love metal and want to play guitar instead of bass, would baritone better than normal guitar if i'm making the switch?
@guitarfascination5 ай бұрын
I believe so. If you like the deep, brutal rhythm tones, then this is a great style of guitar. Thicker strings help as well.

You have the notes right, Mustaine's riffs are tight and articulate and this is one of the prime examples of that, keep working on it. This sounds like if Dimebag was playing it. lol \m/

Great job and tone! Love this song. Ome suggestion I have is that you look like the type of guy who should try classical position. That really changed my playing, I sometimes try to go back to putting it on my right knee and I just can't, because for bigger guys (or gals) it limits dexterity. Just a thought, but you sound good!
@guitarfascination5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. I have considered that change and will have to give it a go. I often feel like my strumming hand is restricted. Thanks again!

It’s good guitar for beginners or advanced players ?
@guitarfascination5 ай бұрын
I would absolutely recommend it for beginners and intermediate players. It would make the learning phase much easier than starting with a cheap or poorly setup guitar. Advanced players should still like the guitar, but higher end guitars will probably have that extra touch that experts would look for. I, am not that good a player.

Paul Reed Smith originally designed those bird inlays as a tribute to his mother who was an avid bird-watcher, just like your mom. How awesome is that? I suppose it was meant to be. Congratulations on your new, beautiful guitar, brother. I bet your mom would’ve loved it!
