Love air Canada. My favourite transit would be Narita rather than Hong Kong. ICN would be a close second. On Thursday Im flying to SIN via YVR with Air Canada then with Scoot to DVO, All in the effort of avoiding MNL... 😉

You just got a taste of socialism. One major issue with Air Algerie and other major companies owned by the government is that their employees were hired unfairly based on favoritism or corruption and not on competence. The food service and cleaning service providers are often owned by high ranking officials who get contracts with Air Algerie using their power and not fair bidding. So I can confidently say that any new plane will only be a temporary fix. Their arrogance, dirt , and unprofessionalism will always be there. The real fix is private ownership and no government intervention, which will not happen anytime soon.

So if you go on a different flight on the same airline can you pick up where you left off from a previous flight. On the IFE. Which would be nice.

When you fly back from Madrid to Santa Cruz, you're actually given a pass at one of the lounges in Madrid airport and also a fast pass for security lines. They are now showing check-in lines for Business class, but if not, the best thing is to ask airline staff and they will let you skip all lines. I'm not sure why they're not doing the same at Santa Cruz airport. Funny thing is that Air Europa shows access to that lounge for Business class but the plane from Santa Cruz to Madrid doesn't offer Business, only "premier" class which doesn't have access to that lounge. I still don't get why they advertise that in that lounge as no one would qualify if flying from Bolivia. To San Francisco, you can do Santa Cruz-Miami-San Francisco or Santa Cruz-Panama-San Francisco (I've done both, and both are incredibly tiring). I hope airlines start seeing a market in Bolivia as anywhere you want to go, you are destined to make a ton of connections.

I'm canadian. Air Canada Trans pacific and Atlantic is great. I can't say the same for domestic and US routes. I also recommend WestJest and Porter airlines.

@wilcovaneeden8469 Well said Sir, thank you. 2 months ago OMG you have literally complained about everything. It's quite funny that ET wins worldwide awards annually, yet you are 100% dissatisfied. I am starting to believe that the problem lies with YOU! Cut the annoying background music, improve your footage, and refrain from posting a biast review. Your report is NOT trustworthy!

You used to be able to do something like this on Thai Airways from Bangkok to London in the 90s. The occupancy rate in economy was typically about 30 percent. The divider between seats could be taken out so you could often lie flat across 3 or 4 seats and get a good sleep, all for a standard economy ticket. It’s not easy to find things like this, these days.

I hope you will fly Westjet in their business class cabin to Asia or Europe. It is usually a better price than AC and they offer low one-way fares which don't make you buy the return ticket.

Wow Vancouver airport is beautiful, Toronto needs to step up its game, its boring, nothing like this. Impressive. My husband and myself had an awesome experience with Air Canada, we were in their larger plane and had a isle seat for my husbands legroom. We had zero complaints about them, but i hear alot of horror stories. Thank you for this lovely detailed video.

Hating Air Canada is a national pastime. Sadly, it's mainly a Western attitude and reflects (1) I hate Ottawa and Trudeau (which has nothing to do with the airline) and (2) nostalgia for Wardair and CP Air (which I understand but they are history). AC compares very well with its international competition to Europe. It's been awhile (too long) since I've flown to Asia although my last trip on Air New Zealand to Australia was excellent.
@JPTech9333 күн бұрын
Air Canada within Canada serves a lot of places not served by others. Canadian aviation is a closed market, by law outside carriers cannot offer local service, so almost no competition. This means expensive and on my last flights the aircrafts were not clean, leaky a/c and restrooms toilet seat gross. Since I only fly economy I rather other airlines, in Canada Porter is great, some prefer Westjet and Transat. All Canadian airlines receive government subsidies and their international routes are better this excludes Can to US and Can to Mex that are treated like local flights, you don't even get a snack in economy. Advantage American's benefit from CAD dollar is about 25% less than USD. About Canadian airports, our PET Montreal is an embarrassment, Vancouver and Toronto are both many times better. All airport here have been receiving substantial airport improvement fees, charged to passengers but I can't understand where the money is going at YUL.
