Världens vackraste och bästa flygplan och hur i helvete tänkte man när detta muskedunder skrotades? Tack svenska regeringen för ert förräderi och svek mot svenska skattebetalare

My Grandfather owned one. N18785. He was featured in Sport Aviation 12-66 & Flying 6-59. I flew with him a few times. Fantastic Airplane!!!! ❤️

Nearly twice the lift of a monoplane with the same wingspan. Wonder if commercial aviation will ever go back to biplanes.

Not Luftwaffe. They are WW II Finnish markings.

The planes built after 1908 all had Wright type propellors. Before they saw Wilbur's prop in 1908 they all used snow shovels and doggy paddles for propellors, and nobody could fly. After 1908 everybody could fly because they used the Wright prop.

So nice to see a Dr.I in factory livery with squadron markings, just like 99.9% of triplanes were; you'd think they all were scarlet red because of that one guy!

22 years in the military loading and unloading aircraft (my base has a squadron of C-130J-30(stretched 15 ft)). My most memorable times in the C-130 was 1) flying with the South African AF while they were doing NAP of the earth in 2004, 2) JATO take off in the Fat Albert (USMC (Blue Angels)), 3) flying from the east coast of the US to Iraq in 2010(2 days, wouldn’t recommend it).
