Oh damn this is like one of those GOOD KZbin videos that are well made.

I disagree about the old music in the newer Fallout games! They’re optional anyway, but I think they add an interesting juxtaposition to the atmosphere! A sad and desolate world with upbeat 50s music playing adds to the experience imo!

Dungeon Keeper was a masterpeice and pretty much still is to this very day. It's a shame DK2 wasn't as good, but it was still good enough to get another DK game as it was sad to never get a third one.

Diablo 3 is correct there is a category of folks (including myself) that would like games to be easy, straight forward etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this made up 50%+ of the player base. However, these folks usually watch streamers play through challenge runs, let's plays, speed runs etc. instead of playing the games themselves. They need to make sure their games are for folks that are playing the game and not folks like myself.

Diablo 2’s skill tree and unique item drop was incredibly not fun for newer players. I was one of those people that had to restart due to weak builds. For example, I didn’t realize alot of the early spells didn’t scale well into the late game. I think a good compromise would have been allowing players to reset skill trees more easily so they can experiment / undo mistakes.

You misrepresented the music in the Bethesda Fallouts. Those tunes are optional. You hear ambient music like the originals if you choose not play your pipboy radio. Bad faith argument, my dude.

In my homebrew version of dark sun I completely god rid of coins and opted instead completely for a barter system. Also copper weapon's, armor and tools are far more common. The obsidian sea is also gone with most obsidian sorces spread around the map and i have added flint, chert, jade, basalt, jasper and marble weapons and tools to the game.

Fallout three felt shallow. New Vegas was good and the sole reason I bought Fallout four. And Fallout four was the reason I didn't buy Fallout 76.

Always the same problem: people thinking that they’re better than original creators. And therefore instead of improving on the original, they change it to fit their “vision” or “values”.

My first fantasy rpg was skyrim, and seeing how good it could have been is pretty sad. However, I bet my sadness doesn't come close to the sadness of those whose first fantasy rpg was Elden Ring.. like, wtf tops THAT?

It's hard to follow a generational masterpiece like D2.... Still have to give it to them for there effort to make also to update D3 to what it was....D3 was the culprit that made me a superfan of Diablo franchise... So do they get a Dub or a L with D3?

I had a pc barely able to play game at time and never got error 37 , I got computer itself dying off on me a few times but didn't know till I read patch notes it was a thing and went online looking it up...... A week later I jumped back on game till console dropped and played co-op with my kids and brother . Regardless of the flaws I will never have as great a time as 4 person co-op with family , my oldest who now has a kid and me and my brother play 2 system co-op D4 . I played D1 with my dad and D2 when for awhile I was a stepdad . I know several people like me and this game series and likely always will be and has a place in our hearts despite the flaws . Poe2 might be and my brother's game in our permanent list due to it's co-op option , but we'll see by end of EA if that is still case .

I just watched this video at 3am. It is so well made that time flew by and this could be on netflix or tv. I really hope you make a similqr video about diablo 4 although at this point it probably won't be as long and detailed, but i think it would add perspective for its plqyers and maybe even developers.

War may never change, but Fallout sure did. People like to dunk on Bethesda today, for good reason. Starfield is terrible, their VR ports are some of the laziest pieces of media ever made, losing even against asset-flips in that regard. And dont get me started on 76 or Bethesdas pathetic constant attempts to monetize the work of the modders that make their games playable in the first place. But we should also recognize that Fallout 4 and Skyrim are just good games at their core that get dramatically improved with mods. Personally, I really did enjoy far harbor for example. So I dont think its entirely fair to just declare bethesda ruins everything and only has success because they pilfer other IP'S.

This is really well done but completely let down with the AI voices. I get it, you want it to sound more professional with multiple voices voicing the quotations yoy cite. However, it just comes across as incredibly cheap and tacky. If you just voiced them parts yourself, or asked friends to, would help so much with the authenticity of the piece
@zarkano14 күн бұрын
Nicely done video with one exception. The AI voice is obvious and painful to listen to. The AI speaks either haltingly or in run-on phrases. I hear sizable gaps in some sentences that normally signal the end of a sentence, yet another phrase suddenly is spoken completing the sentence by surprise. It puts inflections in the wrong places in a single word making it sound like like broken English. Things like cree chur. dem o, powerfelt. I just find it too hard to listen to this without gnashing my teeth. It would be far more interesting and engaging with a real person reading the narrative.

This video is a bloated mess. You can sum up the whole thing in one sentence: they couldn't actually make the loot good and satisfy the requirements of the real money auction house. That's it. It's not some big mystery. It's not hard to make good items. Stop trying to make a living off lame videos.

D3 was decent at the start. If they had better items, it could have worked. But the level scaling that made everything feel like a crappy MMO? Meh.

Is it just me or is fallout 4 a just a bad game and modern fallout in the show not that good (like the fallout show) I didn’t enjoy the game very Much and felt no care for any companions in the game and the institute felt like just a stupid idea. Fallout 4 made fallout seem to bright and happy the roots of fallout being 1 and 2 felt like fallout and was fun to play with good characters something I didn’t see in 4 also changing the dialogue was just annoying and a dumb feature Also the fallout show is also to happy and real to the original and showing Vegas was a stupid idea it wasn’t made by Bethesda and they are messing with it and will probably ruin the idea of new Vegas setting a ending to it and showing the actual ending I think fallout needs to explore more parts of the work not reuse areas And honestly just make a good game that feels like fallout. I don’t know if Bethesda can even do that they should hand fallout to other company that knows fallout like in new Vegas so we don’t have to wait 2 decades for a game made by them I don’t count 76 because it’s online and not really a fallout game by not being a single player rpg

It's been a strange journey coming on with FO3 and then many years later finding out how much Bethesda fucked Fallout. I have watched so many videos on the subject and there's always just... new details and nuance. I've noticed Bethesda simps weirdly try to act like the code name Van Buren was going to be the official title and that without Bethesda we wouldn't have gotten New Vegas; which was actually good thus removing it would be a net negative. They refuse to acknowledge that Van Buren would have been named Fallout 3 but what New Vegas was originally meant to be. And that when that did well would have led to other great Fallout games that would have surpassed New Vegas, 4, and 76.

I remember when I was a kid my dad and I bought Diablo lll to play together because he had fond memories of the original Diablo. The difficulty balance was absurdly off- way way way too easy even for a preteen who wasn’t all that good at video games. We couldn’t change the difficulty setting until we finished the campaign either. Took all the fun out of it. Path of Exile was a lot better (and free!) and we played a lot of that instead.
