Lol he pulls it says that's not going anywhere and then continues to tape it
@XXX-XX-X-X4 ай бұрын
There’s no conflict here. The tape creates a smooth transition and makes it so nothing gets caught on little seams. The tape wouldn’t be close to sufficient for keeping the cable on. That’s not what it’s for.

not going anywhere as long as there’s tension on the line. still need tape to keep it secure especially if there are any angles you need to pull past or its a long pull

I tried using that aluminum duct tape but in the heat it melts off.
@f48films33 Жыл бұрын
Well. How hot. Sitting in the sun with no ventilation everything melts. I never had a issue. Keep trailer out of direct Sun during build or ventilate it. Get plywood sides up no problem. Sorry to hear that. Hard to build in direct heat. Ventilation window or a shade cover as you build. Granted we have had a excessively hot summer. Direct heat without ventilation is a problem for everything.

The sides are easy. I need to see what people are using for the ceiling. I want to use foam but the adhesive is an issue. What adhesive? LOCTITE PL 300?
@f48films33 Жыл бұрын
The premium foil tape I used is Nashua premium rated at 248 f if your exceeding that you need to get your build in shade or try keeping the door or windows open.
@meatdog Жыл бұрын
@@f48films33 I have no shade. All the doors are on with fans running. But when its 119 degrees everything melts. And where I will be using my cargo conversion it's likely to be hot and I need this stuff to bot break down. Just saying ...Thanks for your reply😎

Wow, I'm super late to see this, but also Goo-Gone is cheap and works great to remove glue and it's completely harmless and even smells good. Also, dental floss works well for this job in case you don't have fishing line lying around.
