The A2 rear sight on it isn't correct. It's the same profile as the removable carry handle sights. M16A2 has a slightly different rear sight. The angle at the top doesn't match with the angle of the top of the carry handle. It's been bugging me since I've noticed it. The only way to correct that is to buy a real A2 rear sight or the Viper Tech A2 rear sight

How do u know when the mag is full with co2 ? I am counting to 10 and stop, is that correct ?
@talesofgear26 күн бұрын
Hi! Well, after some time you'll be able to hear it when it's full, just a thing of experience...until then, you can take an empty mag and weigh it. Then fill it up for 10-15 sec. and weigh it again...15 sec is way more time then it's needed and will ensure it's full. The next step is to repeat the process but this time you are counting the seconds...i would start with 5s and check the weight. Repeat till you have figured out how many seconds is needed to have it full. Try to have the empty mag each time around the same temp., because if it's colder it can take more CO2 and if it's warmer it will take less...have fun! :)

Hi, thx for the Vid ! "German Version" = Only semi-automatic, because airsoft weapons over 0.5 joules are not allowed to fire full auto in Germany by Law. The marking "pentagon with an F in the middle" is usually only applied by the importer in Germany. The exception is UMAREX, who ship worldwide with the 'German F marking'. I have the M9A3 FM (GreenGas) with the lasered markings from Umarex. There is no official confirmation that SRC is the manufacturer. But I have only found the HopUp adjustment wheel, the BlowBackUnit attachment and the nozzle return spring on SCR weapons so far. Unfortunately there was only one magazine included, but so far GreenGas magazines from the M92 and also the Elite IA (not from WE) fit. Even though my M9A3 has a little more play between the upper and lower, it works reliably and I have a lot of fun using it.

Just received mine and Im dissapointed. Im really a collector and looking for the most realism and I feel its my worst replica. The handguard weight and plastic make it feel and look like a toy. I have: TM MK18, VFC HK416a5, VFC Urg-I, GHK AuGa2, GHK AK74 and until now its my 1st time having regret buying a GBBR. I have Preordered the new NorthEast Famas GBBR and I'm pissed because I should have preorder the new HK M110a1 GBBR instead of being impatient and choosing this M16a2. The Famas will be released in February 2025
@talesofgearАй бұрын
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that. Besides the handguard, what else do you dislike? I've pointed out the things that are not correct for a M16A2, like the FSB...Also, the fact that the real M9 bayonet doesn't fit...in general, the looks of it is correct. Handguards- honestly, those are actually done very nicely. The weigh, feel and look just like the original early, 1984 dated handguards i have. Yeah, it's not perfect, but for this price range it's the best one can get. For better feel and looks it needs a few changes, which i have addressed in my video- outer barrel, FSB (these 2 will add weight where it's needed and improves the feel greatly!)...if you wanted something that looks and feels very good without the need to change anything, then you are looking at a totally different price range...way over 1200$ (without shipping) and these aren't easy to find either...for example DNA, VipterTech etc...the VFC M16A2 is a great base for making it look and feel more realistic with some investment and still keeping the costs under 1k....I'm almost done upgrading mine and hope to make a video soon. :)
@johnsnow3159Ай бұрын
@talesofgear Thanks for the reply. I think its only the Handguard and overall weight of the front end. For the same price I got the VFC HK416a5, GHK Ak74 GHK Auga2 and they all were perfect out of the box.(Just the Ak74 had some Quality Control issue on the Handguard fitment.) Where I live we dont have the option to buy real parts for modz. I found a handguard that will transform it to a M16A4(30-60days ETA)but I would have really liked to keep it as is. For a 100-150$ more I could have preordered the new M110a1 GBBR. Thats why I'm pissed. I spent to much money lately and those GBBR are stacking up. In retrospect I would have not bought it. It stills looks great though but its the feels handling it. What do you think of the New NorthEast Famas and VFC M110a1? I preordered the Famas and will make the M110a1 Preorder as soon as they make a listing for the Magazines. They are both $1K each where I live.

Hi! Thanks for the comment and the question. EDIT: sorry, was in hurry...misread your message...the carry handle is not detachable, it's part of the upper receiver. Both, upper and lower are made out of the same material, some sort of alu-alloy. Not steel, it's not steel even on the real M16. any experience with the CO2 magazines for this? I’m having issues with the stock green gas mag, and there’s so many variables to it that i’m having trouble determining what the issue is. The Co2 mags seem easier (less variables), but i’m wondering how it will impact the internals/longevity of the gun
@talesofgear3 ай бұрын
do you have the V1 or V2 mags? Mine are the V2 and i'm very satisfied. No issues with them. I have no experience with CO2 mags, but IMHO, the way it shoots with GG mags, there is no need for CO2. Stock internals would handle it, but would wear down a lot faster. Only in could weather condition the use of CO2 mags might have sense...in general, the MP5 platform is internally really good on GG. The system works smoothly. I love what VFC did :)
@TowerofTerra3 ай бұрын
@@talesofgear I have the V2. Im using propane rather than strictly GG so that could also play a role. I can’t find anyone else having the same issue so i’m wondering if it’s a quality control issue or user error 😅 I have a Co2 magazine on the way and interested to see how that will perform vs GG (when it did work)

@@talesofgear the magazine dumps/vents all of the gas from the top port on the magazine as I’m charging it with gas. I can’t seem to get the gas to stay inside the magazine. This causes the magazine to become extremely cold /change temperature very fast. I thought this could be due to an air bubble/pocket but even trying to release the air via the knocker valve technique doesn’t work. I can’t get a single drop of gas to stay inside the magazine. This is all done with propane, so it could be due to the adapters (i’ve tried two at this point). I’ve even disassembled the magazine the check on the orings and everything looked fine. My next step is to try regular GG to see if it’s something with the pressure of the propane tanks.
@talesofgear3 ай бұрын
@@TowerofTerra i don't think it's because of propane...i was running my GBB's for a long time on pure propane, rarely adding any silicone lube to it and everything worked fine and still is working fine. IMHO, it's something mechanical...maybe worn out o-rings/dried out o rings...weak spring...or something isn't put back together as it should be...when did this start happening and what did you do before that on the mags? let's start from there ;)

in anticipation of getting my own VFC M16A2, i went around to read if the handguards were shiny or matte. and there are conflicting anecdotes. in the AR15 forum, the guy behind the A2 grip says early production A2s had matte black HGs, there was another thread of an armorer for the US military saying there were more matte HGs and the shiny ones were rarer. but there are also users that swear the shiny ones were correct. subjectively i like the matte black one.
@talesofgear3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Yes, there are different opinions on that...same with the stock etc...if i go by the ref.pictures from the 80s i see more shiny ones...but it's hard to judge by pictures, there are many factors that affect how things show in pics...IMHO, shiny = early, like up to the late 90s...matte= later, like from the early 90s and up...or a mix of both...like, old ones broke and were replaced with new ones...
