I used to build surfboards for a living, and when it came to resin I would use Sun Cure resin. Especially, when building numerous boards at once. They also make small tubes of it. Apply it to whatever you need then take it outside and let it sit in the Sun for 2 minutes, and it'll be completely dry, and ready to sand. Just an option.
