You should put one of those chopped A1 grips on your handguard. US special forces used it as a foregrip in Vietnam on their CAR-15s/XM-177s

Yes, they did that. However, mine is the Colt M653 model, 80s...but there are quite few access. made even in the 80s i could add...😉 thanks for your comment😉👍

Great Video That’s actually my Lone Star Ordnance catalog 👍 Feel free to use anything from it and let me know if you want scans of anything. I have a bunch of these and the H&R reproductions are smooth and shiny like the Colts. The only other Company that comes close is Linemount, but they have been out of stock for some time. I think the H&R ones may actually be from Linemount. I also have some nsn replacments dated 2002 that are not shiny like the colts, but to match a fiberlite stock and an a2 grip, as well as an Israeli set that has some numbers engraved in them. You are correct that you really can’t beat the original Colts. The more you use them the shinier they get and used ones take on a really nice patina
