If the vacuum holds down the wood, does this restrict the bed movement, on a CNC the workpiece stays still while the cutters move around it.
@ontwerpopmaatpuntcom8 күн бұрын
The conveyor belt has a really heavy motor. So while the conveyor is running the vacuum is active on the places where the sanding happens. It sounds weird but works great.

They do what you tell them as long as you speak their language. People are much more difficult for me. Thanks for the information. Couldn't see the followup video on electronics of the CNC machine. Servo motors power on all the axis? PC based Controller? Etc.,
@ontwerpopmaatpuntcom7 ай бұрын
Hello! yeahhh, I promised to make that video. Thing is the company is getting way to much orders and it is a bit of a juggle to keep everything going (and fun ;) I should make more time for this. What do you want to know? The machine is controlled with Eding CNC, that is a user friendly pc based controller that I can work with. It has a nice interface that looks professional. The servo's are controlled with step and direction signals. That is not the nicest way but is it reliable and simple to work with. The servo's are Yaskawa but there are loads of servo's that are suited (Leadshine, Delta, yaskawa etc). Everything else is just a bunch of inputs (homing switches, toolprobe, infrared screen, pressure sensor, toolholder ATC signals) that are wired to Eding CNC and the software monitors this. Then a few outputs: Dusthood up and down, toolrelease, pneumatic toolrack and that is about it.
