Very similar in design to my exos, I hate the fact they don't have access to the bottom of the pack as that's where I keep my sleep system usually. Love your mod for the side pouches, good informative video. Cheers 👍🏻

Thanks Craig. I quite like the fact the pack is just one big pouch with no extra zips or holes to let water in, so in theory it should be more water resistant. I've found in the past that even when I have the option to use a split rucksack, I tend to pack it all as one main pack anyway. It does mean that I have to empty the whole thing when I want something at the bottom, and you can bet that the thing I want is ALWAYS at the bottom! 🤣

It's a DJI Mavic Mini 2. It's a great size for keeping in the car, or carrying when backpacking. Thanks for for watching, glad you liked it. :)

24:08 I only ever bother with that second bridge closer to Shellbay when the tide is in. It's just a lot easier to walk around it.

Cheers Wullie. It was my first time back in the kayak since I broke my hip, and you can see me pulling faces when I got in! Your kayak video on Loch Tummel is on my watch list, hoping to get the time to see it soon. I like to keep your videos for when I get the chance to watch on the TV and not a tablet or phone, as they look far better on a big screen. Cheers, Jim

Good wee explore , shame there's no real spots for camping , but as you said definately scope for hammocks . Inside the castle beside the fireplace looks ideal , but would need to be up early in case early morning explorers came round . I'm putting this on my to do list . Good wee video and explore pal 👍🏕

Thanks Ally. You could probably squeeze a tent in if you don't mind sleeping on a slope and the possibility of branches landing on you! It is nice and flat inside the castle, and you could possibly bivvy there, but I wouldn't want to be attaching anything to the structure in case it became damaged. It's definitely worth a visit though, and if you look on the drone footage you can see that there is a nice clear channel which would take you right to the island and would avoid grounding like I did. Pity I didn't notice that until after I got home... Cheers, Jim

@Amaan1585 Thanks for watching. There's a fair bit of woodland around Airdrie, but it's all down to what your personal preference and what you are comfortable with. Some areas might be too close to habitation, some might be harder to get to. It's worth going out walking around the area and seeing if you can identify spots you think might be good campsites.

Great video..I wonder whats happened with all the trout & pike that was in the loch any ideas?…they drained hillend recently & most of the pike unfortunately died.

Hi Neil. There's no fishing there at the moment, so it's hard to say. I do know that thousands of freshwater mussels were lost due to the water being drained off too quickly. A whole ecosystem destroyed. It will take years to recover.
