Scotland sells 65% of its goods to the rest of the UK. Its next best customer is the rest of the world who buy 20% of Scotland's goods. Its worst customer is the EU who buy a measly 15%. Yet Nationalists want to remove an Independent Scotland from the single market that of the UK at the expense of joining up with the single market that is the EU for TRADE REASONS and then place another border between. Which of the following explains their policy; Total and utter insanity Total and utter incompetence, or A rabid and overt hatred and dislike for the English even if it harms Scotland ?
