Criterions are excellent, but USGI can be excellent too depending on how worn it is. I'll bring out some M1s with USGI barrels for a future vid.

@markfranke8326 ya that group was excellent. I'm just going by the garands I've shot and I believe they were only required to shoot less than an 8 moa group. I'm trying to remember where I read that . but I know it was somewhere that had the actually army requirements on it. I'd say most of em with some rifling that haven't been drug behind a truck for 42 years might do a 4 moa group . maybe some are better but on average I'm probably not far off. I like the garand and the 03 alot they just aren't remington 700s sorry for the honesty hopefully it doesn't hurt anybodys buttocks!

Nice job with the video. Had just the right sound effects! I have just done the job on the passenger side door for a second time. Mine is a Euro 82 S with no metal shield over the mechanism. I'm certain the failures are from lowlifes trying to break in by heaving up on the handle!

Hi I'm finishing up my 928s rebuild and noticed that I had a stray 3 pin connector which can be seen at 5:22 and 11:37 I was curious if there was a matching connector for this and if so what does it connect to?
@markfranke8326Ай бұрын
are you referring to the passenger side 3 pin, that goes to the hood, which is for the washer heater and hood light? There is also a 2 pin going to the other side, for the driver side nozzle heater.
@carsonvogt685Ай бұрын
@@markfranke8326 I think that is what it is now that I'm looking at it. I took the hood off a year ago and and the previous owner had those wires on the passenger side clipped so I forgot where that connector went lol. When I was a kid, I would spend the summer working/ playing in my grandfather's gun shop. My job was to knock primers out of spent shotgun shells. He would take me up to the pigeon shoots in Higgins and I would pick up all the spent shells. I would sit at the press and punch out garbage bags full. I wasnt allowed to reload until I was about 10yrs old.
@markfranke8326Ай бұрын
sounds like a great memory
@CrashRacknShootАй бұрын
Awesome. Hold onto those memories. I started reloading due to the sheer interest I've always had in firearms. My dad was into guns, but nobody else really was. He taught me what he could since I was six, and about 30 years later, I've come so far down the rabbit hole, I've forgotten more than most people know. Not a brag, just love everything about them. I hope to be the guy your grandpa was to my niece and nephew and help pass on as much info I can, so maybe one day they'll have the same joy I have with them at best, or at worst know very well how to defend themselves when they get older.

Quale sarebbe la sua utilità, ? qualsiasi pressa decapsula e ricalibra con un solo movimento
@markfranke83262 ай бұрын
Spent primers are dirty. For press and die cleanliness, some prefer to deprime away from the press, then clean the brass, and then only put the clean brass in their press. This keeps grit and dirt from potentially contaminating the press ram and die over time. Depriming by hand can be done in a different location from the press, outdoors, or wherever. Finally, depriming by hand can allow better feel for monitoring primer pocket tightness. Con is that it involves an extra step compared to doing it on the press while resizing.
