@@FlyMeToThePhilippines i really want to know what type of spider it was and how dangerous it is. I can't beliieve the Dr. didn't take it to the police or somewhere to have it identifiied and to find out how likely it is to be deadly or if it's just usually causing a bit of sickness. Either keeping it in the bag is a major sign or guilt, there's no reason why someone would do that unless it they have negative intent. In this case the police should've made them take a polygraph test because even though it wouldn't hold up in courty they could at least find out if the girls believed they were guilty and see what the plan was.

@@user-everevolvinglife then the CENOMAR would indicate that she/he is single. If a person claim that no such paper exist on them.... then they are lying. Only exception would been if a marriage was performed, without being registered. Then the CENOMAR paper would claim the person is single (not married). And legally she/he is single according to ph laws. But it is illegal to marry without registeringering the marriage. BUT in several groups in the ph, they sometimes do not register the marriages with the gov. (For various reasons). Religiously they are considered married. But legally they are not. And you will not get that accurate info on the CENOMAR then. But this mostly applies to more specific tribes, and in subculture tribes where arranged marriages under 18 yr old, and where have incorrect birth certificates, etc, etc, etc. You will probably never encpunter such an exveption. So by design, demand to see the CENOMAR. Be polite about it. But refusing to show the CENOMAR is a red flag. Some "story" about no CENOMAR paper... because she is single... is a red flag also. He made friends with the lady neighbor when he was doing his walks and one day she calls him over and says you seem to be a nice guy, I got to tell you something. Hopefully you and Chrissy have discussed and agreed upon details of your new living situation. As a 1/2 Filipino I’ve seen many times here in the states that when the wife’s family moves in there are problems. It doesn’t seem to matter if the husband is Filipino or not. No problem with her son. He’s a part of her so if you want her, he’s part of the package. It’s when the wife’s parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc…move in. For many Filipinas her original family comes first and then you. Some Filipinas can’t say no to demands by her family and they take over. If it’s just her mom that moves in that seems to be ok. Most Lola’s are pleasant. It’s with some of the fathers where the conflict arises. Why? He’s used to being in charge and since you’re with his daughter, maybe he feels that you should be under him….even if you’re the provider. If you’ve noticed, many Filipinas are the family bread winner, but the father or husband still solely decides how the money is spent. If you don’t buckle under he might pressure your wife into making you comply, which causes conflict within your relationship. Like I said, hopefully you’ve already discussed this and have agreed to set boundaries.

I'm a doctor and what your guest described is consistent with poison and sepsis. Both deadly. Also healing duration is consistent with reported severity of the bite. A spider's "poison" is a cocktail of enzymes meant to dissolve prey so they can ingest the liquefied organs. Necrosis or cell death in the generalized area of the bite would be expected, thus the extended healing due to excessive scar tissue. Things could have been much worse if the bite was in a critical area such as the neck or if the venom was injected into a vein and not muscle tissue as it obviously was.

The story sounds exaggerated or completely fabricated. The one biggest hole that I'm surprised you didn't catch is he has the deadly spider in the ice cream container. That's like the murder weapon. When going to the police he would have taken the ice cream container with him as evidence. They would then be able to identify the spider and know if it could cause his bite. And then that would have been enough to arrest the gf and her lover for attempted murder.

Most locks have four pins with nine possible settings so having a key from home fitting the lock is like winning the lottery. Spiders don't attack, they only bite if they are threatened. Sometimes a spider will be in the bed and will bite if they are about to be smashed, but just releasing a spider into a house would not cause it to bite. In addition a medical doctor from the US wouldn't go to a provience doctor for a persciption since he would just get it from the pharmacy himself. It's really not that hard to spot a girl dressed like a boy and he spent too much time with the "brother" to not see that. I call BS on this story in total.

Something about the spider doesn't add up. Don't see how a spider can be trained to attack a day after the family left for the funeral and somehow gets recaught and put into a plastic jar.

Certainly puzzling

Most of the story seems plausible to me, but I don't believe the part about the spider. I did some research. The spider can only be a tarantula. Tarantulas are very shy, they only attack humans when they feel threatened. When they bite in defence, they do not usually inject venom into the wound, let alone digestive juices, as they sometimes do with their prey. I consider a tarantula to be a very poor murder weapon because it is unpredictable and unlikely to harm a sleeping person. If I understood the description of the wound correctly, tissue was missing and blood vessels were visible. The bite of a tarantula can be poisonous, but the area then swells, no tissue is missing. I'm no expert, but what about rats? Hungry rats have nibbled on sleeping humans. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for the interesting and exciting content. I wish you all the best and continued success!

There's always the chance that the spider doesn't normally create that type of wound. However, there's also a chance that he could be allergic to its venom. Like some people are allergic to bee stings, but most just get a small welt.

The ice-cream container was on top of the karoake machine, so possible the spider was already in the container, When he went to sleep, it was already in his bed, then when he walked to get medical attention, they came back, trapped the spider to hide evidence and made the bed. Premeditated. Or the spider could have been let loose when he was sleeping as they came back to release the spider in his bed. The fingers point to foul-play

If that happened to me in England: 1) I'd probably die as although I can see my Dr's surgery from outside my home, my mobility is such that I'd normally drive. Yes in England a 999 call should get an ambulance there quickly, but would they know how to treat a tropical bite? 2) If I could locate them via the aunt or grandmother, if it was in England, I'd push for a murder charge.

The old sheets had evidence and that's maybe why the sheets were changed or the jealously from the other female as she didn't want to be on the same sheets as they had been on. The new sheets meant they planned to be there longer. They definitely put the spider under the sheets while he was sleeping. The police didn't bother to confirm the death of a family member.

So if you are the oldest, how much older are you than her father? If her father wants her to do something, but you want her to do the opposite, who does she defer to? Obviously there are numerous ways to resolve conflicts like this, but I can imagine it puts her in a very stressful place until it's resolved.

If she is unmarried, then she shpuld obey her father. If she is married to you (after you got her father and family blessing), then she should obey you. Thats what it says in the bible, and the Quran. If she decides to defy her father, and she is not married to you... then you always have a red flag in her. Do you think she will be less rebelious towards you whom do not even share the same blood ?.

How did the spider bite him and then get into the container inside the backpack? Unless she held the spider and let the spider bite him and then she put the spider in the cup. A spider the size that he described when biting, would have woke him out of a dead sleep. Whole thing makes no sense. Wonder if he made up the story. A jury might call BS on the events. And to think I've had problems with cockroaches. Lol
