Hi from France, i grew-up in Australia, worked for a company that only had W-model and cabover Kenworth"s, all had 6V92TTA's in 'em,never got to drive an 8V92TTA,but yeah can't beat that sound.

Old stuff might need more maintenance on the regular, but at least you can fix it and keep the old girl on the road. And until they're just wore out and need a rebuild most repairs are fairly simple like that fuel line.

What's the engine set at? 435 hp? I've seen your other driving videos and it pulls like nothing is back there. Great truck👍🏼

Thanks! The motor is an '82 @445hp. There is a really good 8v92 shop in my area that helped me get it dialed in right and showed me little tricks to get the most out of it. I don't know how much it's putting down, I'm just pleased with how it runs.

42 years ago, I drove for a company that had 430 Detroit’s in 4300 Transtars with 10 speed Roadrangers, 4.11 rears; a little bit of heaven rolling down the interstate. Thanks for the memories. You know how to drive a Detroit instead of abusing it!

I'm most likely going to go with 5" miter cut as tall as I can. With the truck being a short hood I'm trying to keep everything as on the smaller side. ( lol little hood problems.😂 )

I put 390's in it to give it longer legs. it came with 433's in it from the factor.

Good question! I was doing research to see how loud it would be before ordering some stacks. This was under $200 to see if it's livable or not.
