That brings back memories of running Terex scrapers and dozers. The 979 Terex scraper had a V- 12/71 turbid at 500 hp and the dozer had a V-8 71 with a straight pipe. Hearing protection was definitely needed. Couldn’t beat that sound.

Heck yeah! They were a lot of fun in off road equipment. I remember running an Terex dozer with an 8v71... you could scream and not hear yourself screaming when that thing was at WOT. lol
