I’ve just finished watching Emma’s Kitchen, Emma, of Nigerian descent, cooks with (totally handsome) King the Chef. Oh ,my- she’s graceful, warm, classy and despite the perfect surroundings, lighting, wardrobe and gourmet ingredients, she’s humble and her food’s the bomb. And they talk about cooking with love and it’s all about love, but they own that vibration. Meagan, clearly isn’t a cook. She’s a crook.

This is absolutely true and this 💩 drives me crazy! This weekend we took our daughter to see Mufasa. After the movie I was so upset that Beyonce's kid was given the huge role of Kiara simply because of who her parents are! The director said " she earned it"...Oh? How many girls were given auditions? Netflix was the Harkles 3rd or 4th choice. Disney and Amazon prime had already turned them down. As one Disney employee said, ""they were way too vague, and they didn't have a demo tape. Who goes to a pitch without a demo tape??""" i would LOVE to know what Netflix has actually paid the Harkles. A big TV star usually gets about a million per episode. And the Harkles have only done 15 episodes of anything. (so far) $20 million a year is what they COULD have made if they'd been as successful as the Obamas. Netflix doesn't hand out 20 million a year for nothing.... AND there's a clause in the contract that says Harry pays for ALL costs of ALL failures (Pearl) ...all salaries, location, travel, materials, publicity etc.

Of course they are stealing from extremely talent people that work so hard to enter into the competitive world of filmmaking. There are amazing film schools such as USC, Emerson University, the American Film Institute - whose alumni are amazing editors, directors, producers, screenwriters. And these two enter Hollywood with their titles and are handed everything on a platter because of their titles. Neither one of them - especially Harry - know what they are doing and it shows because all of their shows are unsuccessful. You can't count their reality show because the main goal was to take down the RF, thus getting interest. They are supposed to be doing 'scripted series' - can either one of them write? And those Executive Producer titles are a true joke.

I think this is a scorched earth move with Netflix. They threw money into the production of this show with the understanding that the merch red tape had been sorted or will be sorted but the inability to get either American Riviera Orchard or ARO registered means it was a wasted production, therefore they must have decided to scuttle this leaking ship by throwing it out the door and ensuring the backlash is visible in the comments section so that when their contract expires in March their lack of popularity is out there for other media companies to see and they will avoid them at all costs.

They have cooked their goose in the industry but primarily with the public. I honestly cannot think of any content they could create that would be successful as they have burnt every avenue. The only thing I can think of is them being a silent exec producing partner in a production company, lending their $$$ and contacts to projects. However, they have proven so far that they don't make good decisions; poor business planning and they don't play well with others. Nor are gracious enough to allow someone else to be the star etc. So actually I've changed my mind, they'd eff this up too.

When I first heard that H and M had set up a media production branch of AW, at first I thought ‘ok, so they are going to bring in and back smaller creators to make and develop their own content under the AW banner’. But the longer time went on, it was obvious that M had a strangle hold on everything. It was her content or nothing. And if it didn’t have her in it, it wasn’t getting made. And why barely anything was made. What a wasted opportunity.

Here's my take. Let her stamp her feet and demand a new trailer be released. Let her have full control of it and only release it when she's 100% happy with it.
