Corrupted soul part is sooooo fun with this character, it's really nice not to have a single option to dodge these beams and lose a 1,5 hour run because of it

It felt unfair for Shadow. There should be some change in that pattern which makes it better for this character.

Great stuff! Trying to consistently beat day 7 is kicking my ass (done it once so far), very nice to see videos of people for ideas on how to improve.

I feel like the shops matter a lot more on day 7 compared to the other difficulties. I noticed this a lot when playing the other characters. Also RNG a bit, it feels like you really need a movement tile for the final boss.

@@caligamingofficial 100% agree on the movement tile part, beat it a few more times now and movement seems to be key above all else. The jump in difficulty between day 6 and day 7 is just nutty lol, but I love that the game feels fair in the sense I can usually look back at a run and go "yeah... I made a fuck tonne of mistakes before I died".

try it now. u dont get to spam the strong attack for this aspect, you only cast ONE then u must reshoot all over again, its super slow. its completely ridiculous.

and your attacks dissipate even faster btw. its completely broken. im 5 testaments short and the 32 fear upper and lower from unlocking EVERYTHING, but ill never do this probably. i can get eris down 80% if im lucky, but its only due to (and im not kidding) spamming your special, its like the only way to fight her now, your base attack is too slow and doesnt reach her from outside her distance its THAT BAD

Just keep go for Centaur Heart (with bonus it gives about 45 HP) and the 100% HP Regen Boon, Hold attack to save an amount of ghost and dash towards enemy for max damage (not telling to tank over though), good luck if you face squidward

Thanks for the video! Also, thanks for proving that "broken resolve" does nothing. With no weakness, Eris's guns do 10 damage and 20 when doubled after a shield. With weakness, her guns do 9 and 18 after a shield. With weakness and broken resolve, her guns do 9 damage and 18 after a shield. What a useful ability! 2:24 gets Broken Resolve. 8:04 9 damage from guns with weakness 9:59 10 damage from guns no weakness. 10:30 18 damage from guns, 2x power, with weakness (I have never been able to dodge this after the last shield on this challenge).

Took me a few tries. I think you mainly need patience in this trial and keep yourself from mashing or channeling greedily. This clear was far from perfect, but worked for; also got some pretty good RNG with the Daedalus hammer, although that is not necessary. I had a way cleaner try before without it, but choked at the boss fight. I think build-wise getting a damage boost on special (Demeter or Apollo) is good. As for the Hex I think Night Bloom works best. You don't really need more.

I have always wondered because you are saying "No cheese" in your titles. How or where is there a way to cheese in this game?

If you join the Spiritfall Discord and check the speedrun section you can find various ways which trivialize the game and which I would consider cheese. One of them allows you to spam dash without cooldown. I don't follow the discord closely, but last time I checked there was also some gimmick with bindings (used to be a problem in Dead Cells too, which was way too powerful). Not sure if the recent patches changed any of that.
