The scarf and the angle grinder is a REALLY BAD idea. Just sayin. Been a fabricator for over 20 years I’ve seen more people than I’d like to remember get pulled into machinery because of their clothing choices they made that morning. Usually it’s turn and ragged out clothes. The scarf is a new one but will get your ass killed ass the same

Une vidéo qui donne envie de faire pareil, alors que ça doit être un boulot épuisant, et parfois décourageant. Très beau son de contrebasse dans la première moitié de la vidéo.

@@cogfuel629 Le bloc moteur était rouge à l'origine? C'est une habitude très américaine de peindre les moteurs avec des teintes assez flashy..

Bonjour. Pour la boîte automatique, je j'y connais pas grand chose honnêtement. Je crois que c'est une boite auto ZF équipant les 404. Pour le moteur bloqué. Tout est possible, si il la chaîne de distribution a lâché il peut y avoir plus de dégâts. Mais comme dans cette vidéo, même un moteur en très mauvais état peut être sauvé. Bien a toi et bon courage

I'm buying a new engine now for my classic and it has 250k miles in it. Keep at it. Do it right every step of the way and it will be way more reliable than people say. If you pay attantion and you're willing to tinker (which you obviously are), then it'll be great.

Well we have never been professional mechanics. But always keen to tinker with anything that spins, rolls, bangs and pops whilst making a nice sound. Wishing you the best my friend

Got to love the Buick Small Block 215 ci , and its bigger brothers 300 ci and 340 ci , its funny the 300 replaced the 215 in the US and it came strangly with cast iron heads and alloy block ?

Nice one mate! I just found your channel now… I’m soon to embark on my own RR classic journey of ownership! It’s been a lifelong dream… I’m so looking forward to it. I’m going to start with the engine rebuild and then go from there. I prefer to start with a fresh slate and then go from there. That way it doesn’t end up being a never ending money pit.
