Hello My friend, Thank you for another great review of a quality airgun. Thank you also for showing the ball trigger mechanism by removing the end cap. I hope I'm not insulting your intelligence, as you may have already done this. I have a Diana Original Model 35, which my late father left me. I dont think he'd had them long. Dad left me two Model 35's. One was. 177, the other was .22. In memory of my father, I wanted to refurb them and make them the best I could. I replaced the piston and breech seals. There were no top hats, so I made two out of delrin bar. I sleeved the piston insides and the spring guide. I re assembled, and they work great now, no buzz/twang, thank uou thank you. The point of my message is the ball trigger. The ball trigger face tube is stepped at our side. To create a flush fitting face, I cut a piece bar and shaped it to the face of the ball trigger housing. The other end of the bar was square, facing the sash cramps jaw. I used a correctly sized socket to take pressure off the trigger assembly to knock through the retaining pins so they could be knocked out. I then just wound the sash cramps forward until the spring had no pressure/tension. If at any time there are problems, then have a hole punch ready on standby, to push into the compression chamber, or there abouts. Stay safe!

I live in Michigan USA my love of pump pneumatic airguns started in 1974 at the age of 13 when my dad gave me a Crosman Model 1400 for my Birthday. I'm 63 now and still enjoy my airguns I have several various makes.and models including three C series Bluestreaks one Silver Streak and one C02 Sheridan as well I love them all and don't get to shoot them as often as I like there getting harder to find in nice condition and the price has went up significantly in the past few years. I enjoyed your video I'm glad we don't have to have detuned air rifles here in the states the Sheridans are capable of a lot which anyone like myself who owns a Steroided Mac1 can tell you 😊

My high schol friend worked at Sheridan Air Rifle. the factory was on chicory road, just west off of Sheridan Road. He told me the history of the manufacturing building locations have changed a few times. He mentioned the first building was on Sheridan Road just north of durand avenue when the first gun was developed and made. The second building was only a couple doors down which was a larger Buildng them the first. Keep in mind that both these buildings were not owned by the company they were rented out buildings. The third and final building was on chicory road. that building was constructed new in late 80's and owned by Sheridan Air. The buildings still stands today. just owned by another company not even related to air rifles. I believe the first two building locations are still in use today.by various companies. The road was named Sheridan which took you to Fort Sheridan

i have one of these! i never even new what it was called besides bam or that it was chinese till now honestly i rly like mine, its obviousely cheap but its very simple and sturdy feeling and it outperforms my cheap 22 break barrel in accuracy and power at longer ranges with scopes thanks to the fixed barrel this gun got me hooked on looking for other fixed barrel air rifles so i definitely recommend!

Hello Mr J Have you stopped doing your Air Gun Video's now, I've just discovered your KZbin channel, Seems a bit of a shame you are not posting anything at the moment? As I enjoy your video's 👍 Cheers Paul

The 618 was .177 but the 622 (same stock and air chamber) was .22 cal. The 620's were also .177 and the 624's were .22. I've seen pictures 630's but I don't know anything about them. All the Slavias I've ever had anything to do with were well built relatively accurate and fun to shoot.

I had a Jackel Hi Power back in the day, what i did notice was the noise and twank when fired, i do wonder if the stock could have been filled with something to absorb the noise ? What i was surprised at was the low power on this example in the video, i thought they were up to the legal limit.

I have one of these i got for a fiver in about 1998. The barrel has been braised onto the body. As i recall it has a dovetail that shoukd be wedged into place? The cocking lever has also been braised back on and it has zero blueing left . It shoots great with its original spring and piston. Quite fun to use.

You dont even need to make a big thing about getting them all lubed. 3 in 10 would do the job. Too much handling can damage the pellets.
