Hi mate I from Oz and just bought one of these How the hell did you get the seat back far enough to fit front bolts , i have tried everything but just cant get seat back far enough
@SoulFuel00119 күн бұрын
It was very difficult. It took me more than 10 attempts. I almost gave up frankly. There is too much material. I let the manufacturer know. Pay close attention to the picture of the front of the seat in the video to get the gap correct and if you have a GW make sure to get the back "hooks" of the seat all the way down and back. Once secured it works great. Good luck!

Thanks mate After much frustration and many attempts i got it on But still cant get bolt holes to line up properly so will leave them out

Honestly the whole Prospect of it is Staind deeply by the majority of DOT requirements in the past but the next Generation of Japanese motorcycle will have blind spot warning system and then 5 to 10 years they might become required as they did with the backup cameras in 2019, but by far the most interesting thing is a complete heads up display integrated through either glasses or somehow projected through the helmet.
@kalebfurrow73692 ай бұрын
you would need a heads up display the reaction speed wouldn't be feasible if you had to look at the dash

way too much money for not having a brake signal. Wireless brake signal techs been around for 30 years. That one is just a big overpriced red light.

Thanks for your comment. I am stopped all the time by other riders asking where they can get a Brake Free unit. I have noticed cars staying further behind me. I suggest looking at other reviewers as well. It lights up when you are slowing BEFORE you even apply the brakes. Such as in the case of engine braking. John

@@SoulFuel001 I ended up buying one just to check it out. I still think they dropped the ball by not having a brake signal though. Or at least the option, especially for the price. They were talking about another version years ago but looks like it never happened.

Interesting. My car has a similar feature and I do like it in the car. This sort of thing can actually be distracting until you have used it for a while. But, since I almost never ride on multi lane roads I'll probably pass.

I am riding a 2022 Kawasaki Concours 14. I ride 24/7/365, cold and rainy. The Concours has handled magnificently in the weather. It has been the best all-weather bike that I have owned, having spent 25 years on Harleys. I have been considering buying a new Goldwing in a year or two, but I am curious about weather protection and the bike's ability to handle wet weather on its components. My bike always sits under a carport at home or work.

I really like this bike. Local dealer has one that is decked out with the side bags and top bag along with the crash protection and extra lighting. Looks nice, but I probably wouldn't go for all the extras because it adds a good bit to the price. I guess a guy could always add it later. I love that it has the tubeless spoke wheels. I would use this bike mainly as a touring bike. I know it can do some off road, but I wouldn't feel comfortable taking any bike this heavy off road more that a dirt road. I know there are people who can take these on a gnarly single track, but that guy isn't me. My biggest sticking point right now is it would be hard to choose which bike to give up for one of these.

I had a 2017 Road King. Loved it. I had two reasons for trading. 1) My wife wanted the tour pack for long trips along with the stereo. 2) I wanted navigation. I went from the 107 to the 114 when I got my Ultra Limited in 2019. That was a plus, but I didn’t trade for that reason. If I was riding solo, the Road King would still be my “go to” bike.

A great bike, the only cons are the computer screen is old and very cheap quality, the paint is weak and scratches very easily, inside the saddlebags is very small. Im 6 3" the leg room is brutal, you'll need highway pegs. Other than that this is a great touring bike. And thank you Honda for making the wing smaller, great idea. It was getting way too friggin big. More color choices would be great. Thanx.

Absolutely love the walking and reverse modes. Use them daily to finesse it into that perfect placement in my garage. Works every time. Love the DCT in every respect. Slow speeds is much different as there is no friction zone. I keep that all in mind when I enter situations I feel I can not navigate competently if the requiring space is limited. This is why Honda engineered the walking or reverse modes. Use it without hesitation. It’s not about being an agility course competitor. But maneuvering and handling your Gold Wing safely. Thanks for the video.

Kevlar in the jeans saved my skin, armours saved my kneecap and hip from anything other than a bruised ego. Bike was fine, I was fine but that is 170% because of armour and gear. Soul Fuel, Thanks for taking the time to make this video. We've had the exact same bike, an '18 Tour DCT Airbag now for about 7 months now and love it to death. We purchased it with a mere 5,300 miles on it and it pretty much is flawless in all respects. The DCT to me, is just pure pleasure. I don't need to shift to feel like I'm controlling a motorcycle. My left hand and foot are totally relaxed and so am I on this bike. I would like to ask you a question though. I am forever on a quest to find the best scenario for communication WITHOUT WIND NOISE in our comm system. May I ask, since you're narration is for the most part, totally wind-noise-free, what head set brand and model are you using? Have you edited your video to lessen the wind noise or, is what we're hearing while you're riding, the way it was recorded? I thank you again for this. Scott
