There is always a chance to have a terrible experience at an hotel, especially since most of the chain hotels are still individually owned. Sorry you had to deal with that 🫡

Ironically, we just left that Hyatt by the PHX airport a few months ago and I was so happy that was not me and my p2's first experience with Hyatt. Only positive it had going for it was how close it was to the airport for our early morning flight. That was our second ever experience with Hyatt and had it been our first it would've been hard to get the wife to want to go to another Hyatt. Just had that old smell and look to it.
@DugrozReports2 сағат бұрын
Yes! 👆 And I recall the side door lock didn’t work quite right either. But in fairness, it’s the only bad Hyatt I’ve ever had. Thanks Nick!

I understand why WF would want AA, but I dont understand why AA would want WF. The Autograph Journey has such good multiples that the co-branded portfolio could not compete with it. That would be a non-starter in discussions. Honestly, I cant see WF landing any domestic partner given the way they are marketing their cards. And honestly, I'm cool with that.

You make some good points. How many PPD do the AA cards earn on their own paid flights?

Regarding the Underground. I'd firstly point out that on other American comparison sites nearly all the folks think the underground is wonderful, but that doesn't mean it is, however, having spent the last 25 years working in London and using the underground regularly I can honestly say that apart from rush hour it isn't often you can't find a seat and quite often you can find yourself on a train that is almost empty. Perhaps use it more than twice before m making that call?.....just a thought......Also....If you're in London the chances are that any encounters you have will be with tourists or at the very least non-Londoners........
@DugrozReports6 күн бұрын
Yeah absolutely about the tourists. 🇬🇧

I ran your numbers with my no AF setup, it wasn't even close lol, I would only get around $1700 CB on that $56,900 worth of spend, which is understandable I am very much below average, if you were to remove rent from my budget, then all my other expenses combined are less than the $10,000 you put through walmart

I'd have to say the ultimate cash back set up is having multiple Customized Cash Rewards cards and a single Unlimited Cash Rewards card from BoA. Of course you have to be Platinum Honors tier, but you're earning 5.25% on major category spend, along with 2.625% on catch-all spending. Plus, after some experimentation, there are a few hacks that turn some unexpected purchases in 5.25% return.

This looks like a cool trip. I used to live close to Davis, so I've enjoyed the falls countless times (many after a meal at the fine establishmeoin town). My wife and I took a teip last weekend to Bethlehem, PA to watch a baseball doubleheader played using 1864 rules and to do a hostiric tour of the Bethlehem Moravian settlement. Judging from your video, that trip would have been up your alley.
