She's not even making a statement about her being bad. She has been complimenting her in her videos if you were to watch or even understand what she is saying.

What's up with these Lara fans????? Lara herself would be so sad to read such comments, you guys has no education and only blind arrogance. Thank you for your analysis.

I am glad I discovered your channel. Your discussion is on point and what I wanted to hear, not just a shallow reaction video. Thank you very much. Love the song and your discussion. BTW, yes I am filipino.

Sigh. Some of y'all are killing me with the hate. This is very clearly a channel about deep vocal analysis and that's exactly what Erika did. And as far as I'm concerned, it was all relevant to Lara and very positive. If you want to navel-gaze at someone sitting there watching a video you've already seen a hundred times and then say "Wow that was great, I loved it, please like and subscribe, bye!", there are literally dozens of those out there. You are all acting in the most un-Lara-like manner possible and you're embarrassing yourselves. Lara is one of the most generous, kind, gracious, and humble singers (and humans) in the world. Some of the vitriol in this comment section is so unbecoming of her fans. Erika, you did a great job. I enjoyed your commentary and your humor and discovered many little details about Lara's performance I hadn't known before. Thank you! As for being Dimash's idol, yes, she is. Apparently he listened to her as a child and was inspired by her passion and technique. But let's be clear, if you listen to her entire career and portfolio of more than 30 years, he's nowhere near her level yet. I'm pretty sure he would admit the same. I hope to see more analysis from you regarding Lara as she has many wonderful performances to dig into. To all who left respectful and positive comments or none at all (no matter how you felt), my rant wasn't directed at you.

One of the worse reactions for Gabriel and Hunt. Seemed like she only cared about if she could hit the notes (which she can’t) . Couldn’t watch til the end 😡

I love this performance exactly for the NASAL tone she was using. also in the Tokyo performance. Effortless, relatable, emotional.

Dubbed means they edit the quality of it, think “remastered” so they edit the audio quality and picture quality, and they also have Mariah resing some notes or phrases. Or she does it herself, she is a perfectionist. Her tone is different in the undubbed, its less nasally and honestly I wish only the audio quality was dubbed but not her literal voice.

ERICA TORRES WHO?! Hey, Erica, FYI Lara is the diva here not you so stop acting like one and stealing her limelight! Nearly half an hour of struggling through this self-obsessed, self-professed vocal "analyst/expert" doing more singing than Lara and loving the sound of her own voice! WTF! Give us all a break Erica! I don't want or need a singing lesson from you so please don't behave like this is "SINGING 101!"

I opened the video by saying, "Again, the midwestern woman who can't even spell her own name is going to talk sh.t about Dimash." "Blues, penthatonic scale, diphthongs" these words indicate a level of education. Especially as a linguist, you got a "waw" from me for that last one. Yes, I agree with the other "dears", you talk "a lot" but not "garbage". Do you work with kids too much? Because you explain everything so much, like a teacher. Oh, and we Europeans and Asians really know world literature and cinema. From fantasy and thriller literature: From America, Anne Rice, Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, etc. From the world: We read authors such as Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, Tolkien, Jean-Christophe Grangé, Gustav Meyrink, Le Fanu, Zamyatin, Belyaev. Cinema is the same way... I also read fairy tales, mythology and legends, which are where all these stories come from, starting with Gilgamesh... We don't live in the stone age, we're just a quarter or half day away by plane.
