Thank you! I’m mostly focusing on short films now. One more should be up this year, a western called “The Painter”!

You captured real RVRy history in this video. Those 4 wheel “Jimmies” are the oldest cars on the railroad and two of them date back to 1952. In particular the #13 is original back to 1948 when Eric Thompson built his first rail cars. Great video!

Thank you! Interesting to hear that history. Glad you enjoyed! The railroad truly is a treasure amongst miniature steam. You wouldn't happen to be on the crew at RWRY would you?

It never fails in my opinion, that a great Bond movie is great and exceptional whoever plays him. But believe me when I say Bond success is only surpassed by the villain he encounters

Great video. What I love about psychological thrillers is they really take advantage of your expectations of a film and flip them on their head to make you question everything. But they don’t do this to scare you. They do this to challenge your thinking and deliver a message about the world. Edgerton really blew me away with his directorial debut.

The sport has evolved so much. You got robot combat tv show's like north America's BattleBots and UK's robot wars. smaller show's like Robotica. the two former show's being inspired by the 1994-1997 American robot wars. and becoming in international sport with competition's in China India and more.

Don't you think Robyn is the protagonist?
@DooleyTheDirector3 жыл бұрын
Potentially. I think at the time of watching the film the two stand out leads captured my attention, but Robyn could be considered the lead as well. Is that your view after watching the film?

Sorry, Silva was a cartoon. He was way over the top - knew everything and planned everything better than any expert in the field, with a health that made "Jaws" look like a puny whimp, and resources against which Goldfinger and Blofeld looked like paupers and wannabes. Motivations are but a part of writing a character.

This. This is the reason I come back to Skyfall, despite all the plotholes. Silva is a compelling villian.
@DooleyTheDirector2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! They did the "Evil" agent trope right.
@joaoalves93307 ай бұрын
@@DooleyTheDirectorwhy’d you put evil in quotes if you don’t mind me asking?
@DooleyTheDirector7 ай бұрын
@@joaoalves9330 “Evil” as in the modern retelling of the villain story. A lot of popular movies have recontextualized their villains to fit a more modern style of storytelling. Point would be the maleficent movie with Angelina Jolie, the villain is no longer evil just because, she has a backstory and the writing takes her away from being purely “evil” to something else. In the same sense instead of having just an evil 007 clone, we have an agent who has a complex and understandable backstory for why he betrayed M and is wanting revenge, if that makes sense
@joaoalves93307 ай бұрын
@@DooleyTheDirector Ah I see. To be fair though I don’t think a character having a reason to be evil makes them not evil. No one is evil (or good) just because, everyone has something which drives them. Back in the day we just weren’t told what drove villains’ actions I’m sure the original maleficent had a reason to be a villain too the story just didn’t focus in on that (thus making her look like she’s evil because). I don’t know just food for thought I guess (Le Chiffre is pretty close to the original maleficent in the sense that he too seems evil just because but that’s only because we don’t know what drove him to become a part of the international crime business).
