Keep in mind this is an old video, from mid 2020. Kheshigs were nerfed considerably hard after this. I do think armiger lancers are better for the leadership value now, but I didn't play the last season at all, so things may have changed.

this was an arcane for the operator, Magus lockdown. You void dash and CC enemies for a short period. I think it's from Fortuna You can only use it a few times on the demolyst tho, after that he becomes immune.

Oh these videos are very old. They had different mechanics back then. Charge was instant, there was no windup. That changed in s2 I think

@@thegauntlet860 Absolutely. They should have done this a long time ago tbh. Armiger lancers (T4 promoted yeoman) basically has 3 charges with separate cooldowns, while cata has 2 with a shared cooldown. It's really upsetting tbh

sadly they aren't nearly as good nowadays. I mean, the only purpose they'd have nowadays is charging into a cluster of pavise and other musket units because they resist ranged stagger, but other cav can do this by simply moving them with X on top of the ranged instead of pressing charge. The new promoted yeoman unit (armiger lancer) is better than catas in almost every way and much cheaper =(

Hi mate, which server are you playing on? The game has many versions and servers, the more populated ones can split the match making better, the smaller servers sometimes end up mixing high and low level more often than desired (although tbh it is not that common in the servers I play at least). Also you'll want to figure out which troops are one shotting one, is it cavalry or muskets, or something else? Then learn to counter and avoid them accordingly. For example any cavalry is highly countered by imperial pikes, a purple troop which you can get relatively early if you focus your progression towards them.

@@legiojavanica4942 That vet node means that hussars don't get stunned by braced pikes. Normally all cav gets stunned when they hit braced pikes, but hussars dont (they still take the damage tho)

I agree they nerfed cav a bit too much, what makes me more upset is how sword and shield infantry like condos and azaps can cancel their charge lol

Nothing has really changed actually man they are still the most powerful charge cavalry (that can also take damage) The only things you need to be aware of are people's unit compositions. Don't charge imperial pikes and fortebracios. Also avoid muskets if they are behind a shield wall and same for crossbows. Instead of charging non shield wall muskets or crossbows place your formation over them In our house winged hussars are still the most used cavalry and for a reason as you win a fight sololy by charging with them They didn't really make them wesker but they are more hard to use as you need to be more careful with your charging and preferably find ways to stack your hussars in a close formation still very very deadly and easy to get 100+ kills in a single charge.
