I haven't played catas in a long time, and I heard they have some weird bugs afflicting them in S3. But I'll talk to a friend of mine who really likes them and maybe play them for a bit =)

@@cannamina8181 Hi, could you please tell me what has changed that affected them more than the other Cavs? Or why the others are better? On paper they seem cool with the 2 charges. I'm new to Cavs and thinking about getting a T5 unit and I would really appreciate some insight.

@@Mamsaturatdevoi with S3 everythink Has changed with cav, this is infantry season and if u want cav that will do the job by themselves choose rattans or fire lancers. Just remember that they are not charging cav, there is different playstyle with them. If You want charging cav i would say monastics but they will need Your help, cuz anythink can stop them, yet if You'll make a breach in enemy formation they will clean up the mess.Think to remember on this season is that cav charge can be interruptet, not like before where You could stop them but they get back to charge, nie interrupted charge means that unit goes into "attack command". And also cav stop charge at walls

@@cannamina8181 Thanks a lot for the clarification, I really appreciate it. But what do you think about open world PvP fights? Like when you intercept people in territory wars, for example. Wouldn't the Cataphracts be useful in 1v1 with their double charge? I'm curious if it can be used to outplay poor players. Like if you used regular charge just to fake a full on attack, while positioning your hero behind their unit to later use the second charge. Or to use the regular charge to get out of the way of a Monastic/Hussar charge and then using the United charge to kill the unit after their charge ends? Do you think such outplays are viable, or you would still be better off with other cavs?

@@rvv064 they really need to unbind the united charge and the full charge once again. Nowadays they don't do as much damage so it would justify this.

@@thegauntlet860 Absolutely. They should have done this a long time ago tbh. Armiger lancers (T4 promoted yeoman) basically has 3 charges with separate cooldowns, while cata has 2 with a shared cooldown. It's really upsetting tbh

United charge is dumb even when they stand still they do charge dmg

Another problem about UC (and probably a bigger issue) is that when catas get stunned they continue to do dmg as well, it's like an aura lol

Do Cataphracts get flinched by Crossbows and muskets like other cav?

Atm mine are lvl 22 and they do get flinched by ranged, yes. However there's a node that supposedly gives them anti-stun, I'll get that at lvl 26. In theory that node should give them immunity to ranged stagger, but there's always a chance it could be bugged and not working properly lol.

@@rvv064 i confirmed that it won't get stunned by range at 26 in Frontier, confirmed by devs also, that node translation is fixed too
