hey conjo.. one video i know you would love and is really one of the greatest pairing videos i have seen is 'Minji Vs Haerin: Love-Hate Relationship' by yourjeans... please react to it its soooo good.. explains tom and jerry so well and honestly i think it might be my fave pairing after seeing the video... these two are actually closer than anyone realises :)

I can get into whats happening later but PLEASE PLEASE also react to the AAA 2024 performance... the 'christmas' version of supernatural is INSANE lol its so festively good!!.. also yeah i agree.. i love bubblegum anyway but this live band version of it is top 5 newjeans for me... it like the 'soft metal' i used to hear from bon jovi or the rocky soundtrack... its sooooooooooooo good lol.. t does elevate the original which i love anyway.... but damn... all these versions are on soundcloud

i think we might have a similar taste for kpop, i like aespa and can appreciate what they're doing but i do like the more idk, light and airy type songs rather than the "loud" type? but those songs can hit depending on mood too lol. I would at the very least recommend Supernova and Armageddon if you do more Aespa though and yeah you should definitely check out Haerin and Danielle's covers for sure. Honestly I was extremely surprised with Haerin's english pronunciation on her cover, it's pretty flawless

To be fair Haerins english is VERY good... the few times she speaks it her pronunciation has become almost perfect.. check out the latest live on I.S she did... i'm fairly sure its just because of her nature she just feels a bit on the spot and shy when she does speak it.. so she just chooses not to :P also bu the 'loud' type i'm assuming you mean kpops version of 'trap' which i also highly dislike... like for example i've heard several babymonster tunes and the majority of the ones ive heard have that style.. the two tunes i like of theres are actually more 'newjeans' like having a retro hip hop/rnb style

Aespa 'Whiplash' has that sort of vogue runway catwalk sort of music and it was weird because like 3 or 4 songs came out at the same sorta time by different groups that all had that same sound... BabyMonster... from the songs i've heard from them i like a couple.. I also think you missed the Haerin cover of 'ceilings' which is really good.. also cannot highly recommend enough the 2024 KGMA performance.. their final performance as 'newjeans' in Korea .. please react to that... the live band version of bubblegum is INSANE as is the dance break version of Supernatural :)

''newjeans never die!''.... they had a few performances after in japan and thailand but they are done for now :(.. check out the AAA one in japan they do a christmas remix of supernatural and its soooo good

Fun fact, aespa and newjeans are THE top 2 kpop groups of their generation so that moment is def one for the history books. Multiple clips and pictures trended (or whenever both groups interact tbh). Both are well loved by the general public so yeah What’s interesting is that their concepts are on the complete opposite sides of the spectrum. While NJ is popular for their retro/chill/nostalgic vibe, aespa are known for their futuristic/in your face/metallic sound. These 2 dominate the charts. At some point, 4 of the Top 5 songs on Melon (Korea’s most used music streaming site) were occupied by them (Supernova & Armageddon by aespa, How Sweet & Bubblegum by NJ). This was the only time they clashed comeback dates hence the surge of interactions.
