Would have been cooler if he knew what the parts of the bat were actually called. Or explained how much to overlap. Or explained how tight to pull the tape. But he sure does know how to wrap a bit nicely.

Are you able to reverse wrap for a lefty? The beginning of the grip looks like it only goes on for a right handed person.

I purchased Lizard Skin tape in orange, Really nice color felt good on my hands etc. One problem it deteriorated in less than 18 months, literally flaking apart. Unacceptable at this price point.

Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.

Not super happy with this product, I have a gearbox CX 14 with a long handle, and it had a sheath underneath the original wrap, which I took off… even with the narrowness with the handle stripped right down, it didn’t seem that I had enough lizard skin to wrap the entire length of the handle. And then the rubber finishing band was way too big.

No, that's not right, you wrap the tops in the opposite direction.

Still looks sloppy, tbh. As a cyclist who has wrapped quite a few drop bars (way harder because of the curves and the brake levers that are in the way) I am sure a short, straight handle like this could be wrapped much tidier.

The adhesive on mine stuck to the wax tape 😐

Would you wrap it the same for a left-handed player? I know you wrap your grips differently on a baseball bat depending on the handedness of the player, so I wasn’t sure if it would be the same case here

What's the feeling on adding wrap overtop of existing? I have a brand new Miken bat and it has a fairly thin handle area. There's nothing wrong with the wrap, but I'd like to add some thickness. Can I use .5mm or 1.1mm and go right over top?

Are you stretching it here? because I just did mine and it’s wrinkled up and did not go very far up the bat. Just wasted a whole strip.

I have a problem. My son bought the 1.8 ultra home today from Dick's. I started to peel back the adhesive cover, and the glue stuck to the 3M layer, and not the Bat Grip itself. Essentially making the Bat Grip useless because it won't stick to his bat. Truly disappointed for my son.

When you try to wrap it the opposite way a bulge forms. Not sure how you would get rid of this without pulling it significantly especially at the knob end with a tapered bat handle. Or am I just dumb?

Every time I have used rubbing alcohol on a lizard skin grip it has nearly destroyed the grip. Do not do this.

I just bought some of these but the kind that only takes on lock on ring per grip (the interior side of the grip). At first I was disappointed because the grips were rotating. I ended up giving it some more turns and it worked. Now they are solid!

Worst bar tape and overpriced Barely a few hundred miles and my tape looked like the fucking road surface.
