Great video, big fan of the channel. Does the ridgeline being on the inside affect insulation on the underside of the hammock? Does it make the air pocket between you and the cocoon too small?

@@OscarOutdoors22 Thanks! I’d seen that video; very helpful tips. In this video, from about 3:00 to 3:30, it looks like the tarp is being unfurled from around the ridge line? Maybe it’s in a stuff sack that’s open on both ends? Very nice deployment.

Got one great for sleeping on but after some months it deflates in 3 hours . Can’t find a hole I’m at a loss still comfy but why deflating valves ?

@ we’ve been lucky, a few fence panels swinging free but nothing that’s caused too much damage luckily. I’ve been out for a few short walks between squalls, with the dog but only locally. Hope your house weathered the storm too 🥰🏴

Time for you to invest in a better-quality hammock. Dutchware over here in the states will make you a custom one to whatever color you want just about, and it will be an entire universe of difference in quality than what you are used to. Superior gear, Majestic, Hammock Gear also will make you a far superior hammock that will last you the rest of your life.

Yeah I'd love to but with the USA Ones I almost have to pay as much for import tax as I do for the product... I'll check them all out though and see where my budget can stretch! 😜

@OscarOutdoors22 i believe Dutchware has a company in the Uk that distributes their hammocks you could try called Henge Hammocks. Might save you import fees thar way and get a first class hammock.

Hiya, mate good point. I think it's around $130 but if you're UK. Someone mentioned it's £100 in Currys at the moment. Seriously well worth it though. Th simplicity of just pressing a button to have a coffee in the morning is awesome

Not sure how comfortable trying to sleep in ear defenders will be .. but not a bad shout. I sometimes have my ear phones in listening to Audible or something. But I forgot them on this night
