It is truly wonderful to see you back! Give yourself tons of grace as you navigate and find your new normally. I am a month out after my last radiation treatment for cancer. I am struggling to do the things I enjoy such as camping, motorcycling, and making content. I want to do them but them freeze up. I actually spoke to a psychologist today that specializes in survivalship after life threatening illness. He say what we are going through is normal. We have had our lives and bodies turned upside down. It will take time for us to rebuild our foundation and to be comfortable again with taking risks; no matter how small. So what you are going through isnt "stupid" or "silly". It is completely normal and part of the process, one that we cant hurry up and just jump back into our old life like nothing ever happened. I am also glad and humbled by the gift you gave us by sharing your story. You probably helped many that are suffering through similar but in silence. You being open about your struggles probably just gave them a voice.❤

Thanks very much. You have to be honest with yourself and others... No point in lieing about things we all feel. Literally the anxiety was crippling. Get all excited, pack a bag... Then bang..... Not move for a couple of days. Thanks for checking out the channel. Appreciate it

@@OscarOutdoors22 I set a goal this year to wild camp at least once a month this year. The first camp I bailed due to anxiety, the second camp I did alone but was nervous. Since then I’ve camped at least once a month, sometimes much more. Camping alone and with others. It’s been a journey so far. I’ll be honest and say that the nerves are still there… However, I really enjoy my nights out. What I noticed the most was the look of joy and delight on your face in the morning after your camp.
