Andy Irons, Fanning. Rob Machado keep their trailing arm relaxed down by the knee pretty much all the way through a turn through , as the secret also is the top turn, entry and exit , keeps speed generation for the actual bottom turns...Style/flow/balance...

I wanna say, just the two of us, on that little guitar. So sweet. So true. Like a twin. Surfing you, not the other way around.

Starfin was 1984. The original board was designed by Cheyne & Ben Lexcen and shaped by Terry Fitzgerald. Whether that board could be classed as a "Lazor Zap" is questionable and we would have to ask Cheyne.

I took the bottom turn for granted all my life man 🤦🏻♂️ I’m in my 40s still Ripping it up!!! But damn! Some thing that came natural to us! Never ever put thought into it!!! It’s so crazy that you will never stop being a student in life 💯. Shit! I can’t wait to work on bottom turns!!! And I would always jump on a wave a kill the shit out of it and with a long board I would do those long laying cruiser faded take offs. Never would have thought to chill more on my short board. Center my feet positions. Then go for the kill. Damn! I’m so stoked!!! Put me in the game coach!!!! I can’t wait bro. Mad Aloha Cheeeee 🤙🏽 🌎🏄🏽♂️

What they (pros) do to air they can’t explain because it was learned it intuitively (I think), but luckily a wakeboarder told me how to air waves with boards, and the key is staying stiff through the impact , I can see the pros then ‘ollie’ after this but if you didn’t know this tidbit you can’t see it because it looks fluid and one motion. And if your a skateboarder and didn’t know this you wouldn’t be able to air off waves by trying to Ollie the board. (Before the stiffening of legs though impact of wave to propel up).
