Personally, I think it should be exclusively human. I just can't see the lore maintaining devout warriors of Sigmar that are Elves, Dwarves etc. I'd love to be proved wrong and see some sick new models for other races in the faction, but I love my 'Fantasy Guard' army.

Also, against common believes you don't necessarily need a _XS Layer_ (Citadel), a _Psycho_ (Army Painter) or _Insane Detail_ (Army Painter) brush. The only thing that actually matters is your skill and experience. A _M Layer_ (Citadel) or _Detail_ (Army Painter) brush can be just as useful, if not even better depending of experience. What also matters is the technique. If you aren't 100% sure on your freehand skills, a pencil sketch on the base colour does the trick fairly way. Just be careful with colors like yellow since most yellow kinds are semi-transparent and show your pencil sketch. Relatively big areas should be paint with more watered down base or layer colors than usually. This not only make the area more uniform, but also allow to correct mistakes by using a tissue or a brush. (Mistakes with regular thick colors can be corrected with a wet brush instantly) To make the tip of your brush nice and pointy, roll it on a wet pallet while aplying minimal pressures and dragging it "down" (to you). The best way of applying color is by holding the brush NOT in a 90° angle, but a 60° to 35°. 45° is preferably since it allows you to see not only the whole tip of the brush but also the area of color apply. Do NOT use the whole brush to carry the color. 1/4 is enough. The color on the upper part only dry out, damaging the brush and making it harder to control the paint applying. Go in coats. It's nothing wrong with going layer by layer to build up a strong color. It also allows, with the experience or openness to experimentation, the fusion of different colors to create some great effects. Practice on paper. Nothing wrong with collecting experience. And if the practice creates something you want on the banner, just glue it on the banner or build a banner. Hope that's helpful for some here.

Alright, I wanted to give this some time to marinate: About this box: It's 210€ on GW and for that, I think it's a tight margin. Most of the miniatures in here are not out for single purchase yet, but even so, it's a lot of money for (to be fair, a seizable amount of) plastic. I'd recommend getting it from a legit 3rd party seller, (e.g. Kutami in Germany is selling it for 165€) and THEN, you have a great deal, with the rulebooks, terrain and 2 quite big and versatile armies. I got BftBI with a friend, either one of us paying half and I recommend to do the same with any of the Starterboxes. About Spearhead: I think on paper it's a nice concept, with every pack giving you a vasatile force of any faction ready to go, but I am yet to play it and need to gather a little more data for a proper recommendation. @Theinrich and I will paint the entire box and play a match live in like a month, so if you're that patient, we'll have a better look then. I hope this was somewhat helpful. TL;DR The box is good value, especially when bought for <210€ and Spearhead is a good concept, but I need to give it a better look.

the weapon heats up so much because they are on a moon/planetoid with little or no atmosphere, thus there is no air for the weapon too transfer its heat out. trapping it within the barrel, which is probably why it has two barrels and two magazine feeding each barrel. allowing one barrel to fire while the other has a better chance to cool down.

Great video, love the final result! Oswin is actually a recycled sculpt, first used in Warhammer Underworlds: the name of the warband is The Farstriders, and the character is Elias Swiftblade.

Thanks a lot, I'm always glad to see that people continue to find use for my videos.😄 I guess you already found what you were looking for, but just to confirm: I used Citadel's "Corax White" spray-primer for this model; For the black-primed models I can also recommend to just use regular spray paint from the hardware store (water- or propellant based both work), as they tend to be cheaper. For the white I'd stick with Citadel tho, as the ones from the hardware store often have disappointing coverage. Have fun painting! The boxset really has a lot of awesome minis.😁
