10:05 You film this better then a lot of slowpoke easy cruising thru-hikers do. I can't count the number of times I have heard hikers say, "Oh, blow down. I have to put the camera away. " But you just keep filming and talking and climb right over it. 😎👍

really appreciate seeing your experience with JFK. would love to see you take another crack at it, Tara! that AT section is probably some of the most rocky and technical, don't you think? even harder with the leaf coverage. 🦶currently 5 weeks out from my 3rd JFK50! i can relate to not getting the result you wanted. i surprised my self in 2020, completing JFK, my first 50 mile, in 07:48:38. did not fair as well last year (2023) was walking a lot on the towpath with debilitating right side it band/hip pain. didn't train right, didn't taper right and my mental health was lacking. been focused all year on this race. getting ready to put in my first 100 mile week (s?) this week (and next week?) have gotten a lot stronger, faster and better as a runner. already getting nervous, but i'm ready to crack the top 10 and win some money! 🤑

This is what I dislike about social media.... Tara, Jeff garmire, etc ... Real performers and athletes have 10% of the following that "Influencers" have... Rene, Darwin, etc are hiking but not doing this... Congratulations on your amazing and wild achievement!!!

I guess I'll eventually get this question answered, but did you do this kind of recon investigation all the way to Springer? I'm guessing not, since you went to Idaho after this was filmed. Or maybe it was o ly for the 100 mile. Maybe the rest of the road crossings are obvious for the rest of the trip. Also seems like that would be a monumental task. Anyway, I'm enjoying all your videos, so thanks.

Good video!! 💯 I have trust issues...😂 Never sleeping with some stranger next to me.... That disease is another reason to keep away from strangers. Im out to enjoy the wild anyway, im campin in my own space, at my own camp, with a few trusted friends...😂 Rather shack in Bigfoots front yard, than with a psycho!!😂 Bring bear spray as well!!!🎉 Small pistol if ya can....

I have been spreading your channel and gospel since before your Colorado trail FKT. While I was on the CT for my thru hike, I met the guy trying to break your record named Dr. Dre or Andre. I have him shit that you kicked his ass without a team or any assistance in a joking way. You're so inspirational and deserve all the views of the world. Sadly people don't like to watch inspiring. Thank you for your effort and inspiration.

@@taratreks the genuine nature of the videos and not cutting out parts that seem to not matter is what is making them worth viewing. I have done some FKT runs and done videos and people appreciate seeing all-the good/bad and funny. I like the RAWNESS of them. Not super polished edits. Thanks. I have told people that what you did could be considered one of the greatest endurance feats of all time.
