Do all units come with the LVDS extension? I have the PEMP 10.3" Linux unit for E84 and don't have the extension. The LVDS cable is connected from the radio head unit to the stock USB. I left it connected as found and unit works with no issues. What is the purpose of connecting the radio to the linux unit instead of the USB outlet? Is there an additional feature gained by doing this?

I just installed a rearview camera on the back trunk handle. I see that 360 view camera connectors are different, do i have to uninstall that backview camera to install this 360 view ? coz othervise there will be 2 cameras at the back.

Hello, I have a bmw f01 2011 and I heard from some people that when the original navigation system is removed and one like this is inserted, the sound quality is lost. Otherwise, I have a Harman Kardon sound system. Is that true?

The new Android screen only replaces the original display screen, Keep the original radio and audio amplifier, so the original sound quality is the same. But compared to the original sound, the sound of Android may be slightly inferior. This is because the Android screen is inputted through the original AUX. If your original radio has Bluetooth audio function, you can obtain CarPlay or Android auto sound through the original Bluetooth. Hey please , i need a direction on how to set my Android device setting up correctly , when i am in the zlink app while using the apple car play and listening to music , and i tried to put my car in reverse mood to back out of my garage , the music and the audio sound get shut off until i put the car back into drive mood before the audio sound resumes back , why is that happen and is there a setting that i did not activate on my android device right or wrong

Please check your original radio FM station for sound? If not, the original radio is not getting power. Please check if the ISO plug connection on the back of the original radio is secure, it has a latch and must be fastened! Is it possible to change the RPM count? For example to be to 6k RPM (for a diesel model), not to 8k RPM?

Yes, we are in the process of updating this setup and are now done with 160MPH for the diesel and will be done with 6K RPM next.

Hi, I’m having trouble with this installation of the apple carplay. 1. Although I installed the carplay, everything seems to work fine until I try to play music on the system through Bluetooth. It doesn’t play any sound but when the navigation is on, siri tells me the directions but only a little. 2. When I go into reverse, it shows up as a purple glitchy screen. In general, how do i plug in the systems wires such as the reverse camera, audio, and any other important wires? Regards and thank you!

Hi I have Bluetooth phone but not Bluetooth audio. I used BimmerCode to program the Bluetooth audio. After installing the Linux screen I am no longer able to access the Bluetooth audio or phone in my f32 2014. Do you have any suggestions to help get Bluetooth phone and audio working?

Dear, If your stock Bluetooth phone works fine with Bluetooth audio, I would suggest that when you use PEMP Linux, you select the car Bluetooth channel to get CarPlay sound. The sound quality will be much better. If you still want the raw Bluetooth audio to connect directly with your phone, you can leave it unselected within the Linux settings. If that doesn't fix it, please contact our aftermarket service team at [email protected], they will fix it for you.

1. if you're just adding aftermarket front facing cameras, it works with your stock rear view camera. 2. if you're adding side view cameras, that's a complete set of 360 bird view panoramic cameras. You have to replace the rear view camera.
