In 1967, my uncle, Neil Douglas, caught a 9.5 kg (21lb) tailor off the beach at the mouth of the Donnelly River. It held the Australian record for some time. I think it was broken sometime in the 1980's.

Hi Chris. Was just wondering where you guys get your slide clips from? Have some Tackle International ones but need some more. You helped me out before with how to make the grappling sinkers.

I wanna know how many people googled 'cape carnage' trying to find your spot. Haha. I definitely did. Top video mate and an epic session.

Haha I imagine a few. A lot of my spots I give names to so I can talk openly about them without worrying about giving away locations. Roast point, cape carnage, washing machine, snapper land, Kingy cove, the highway are some examples of the names I’ve given them.

Just back from quobba reeled in a massive cobia from the rocks, never and I repeat never do what he's just done at quobba and jump down onto wet rocks just to grab a fish. If the rocks are wet stay off them, golden rule at quobba.

No freshwater on fish ever! I learnt this a few years ago and it has made a huge difference. Just clean your fish with paper towels.
