The "circular" trains are those that veer off the Green Line past Fair Park Station onto the tracks that head toward the maintenance facility and then rejoin the Red/Blue Line before the Cedars. It then proceeds past the EBJ Union Station towards West End and then loops again.

They didn't have those this past year, like they did in previous years. These were still labeled/called circular trains internally. Hopefully they have them go through the yard next year.

I would assume future-expansion. Cheaper to have that sitting there than to retrofit it later.

I remember when Amtrak used to have one of these! Metra also has it, including the Altamont Corridor Express or ACE for short, the North County Transit District (NCTD) Coaster, Caltrain, and Metrolink, even Via Rail, GO Transit, NJT New Jersey Transit, MBTA, and CSX. Oh yeah don’t forget about Tri-Rail, along with the Grand Canyon Railway.

Almost close to fair park station, there was one of Amtrak’s old El Capitan Bi Level Coach Cars on the left! They did had one remaining Pacific Parlor car that was used for the coast starlight, up until it was retired already and put on display at any railway museums

Thank you for the channel and your, detailed, videos. This is a very enjoyable ride, the train is very smooth, the scenery is beautiful, and the end of the line, at DDTC, is great. I last made the trip in June,2023, for a few days stay in Denton. Love the city. Thanks, again.

Super helpful and well narrated, because it feels like there's a lot of (unintentional) misinformation about this station. This was great, and I love the extra effort of getting the operator to turn on their auxiliary lights.

I agree that it is mostly unintentional misinformation. People just repeating what they have heard, and it has gotten repeated so many times people just think things are facts. To date it is my only narrated video, but since I have footage and access most don't, I figured I could help clear a few things up for people. Thanks for checking it out and the kind words.

I was travelling on this back in April 2024 between Galatyn Park and DFW. For a tram network, it is very impressive and so amazingly cheap to travel on. Much cheaper than the UK.

I like riding down Lancaster, I love my people. Going 65 once you leave Mockingbird Nb, that was a nice stretch to White Rock to just cruise along. Heck, even riding through Garland, was cool, though they do need to upgrade the fencing and gates. 65 mph is a little fast to be going through open area like that. The signals down Lancaster are so outdated that DART does a lack of system and equipment upgrades.
