Hey Capt Corey, could you give us an explanation of what spoon you were using and the technique for fishing during the high tide? I was in the same area throwing a spoon but it was not first thing in the morning, it was around 2 pm during the high tide so does the temperature of the day make a difference? It was about 91 F. I'm gonna try again but in the morning but I've never fished a spoon before.

Lordy Lordy, I wish we had a nice spring-fed river like that down here in my neck of the woods!!! The Oklawaha is a true gem of a bass fishery. The upper St Johns river down here is making a comeback, slowly but surely. But this far south, it doesn't have any springs feeding it like the Oklawaha does. I know there's springs that feed into the St Johns, but that's much farther north of us. Great fishing guys!!!
