"Trail Control." 😂 what a joke. Only thing this feature does is effectively get all our trails closed for tearing crap up!

Wait, Ford put the same width and height tire on this F150 "just below the Raptor" package as what comes on a basic sub-$50k STX with 20" wheels? Interesting. And, the suspension height difference is barely an inch. Oh and all the same drive modes except rock crawl (which us basically the same as putting ANY 4x4 F150 in 4 Low anyway). Hmm.. what's all the hype again?

What mpg did you get on the highway (when you weren't going bonkers in Power mode)?
@GCCarsCA3 күн бұрын
Unfortunately I wasn't able to do a proper highway fuel economy test. However, due to the nature of the XC60 being a PHEV, highway fuel economy will be worse than city with this one sitting at around 9 - 10L / 100km (roughly 25 mpg).

There are cars that are true luxury. Then there are brands, that are wanna-be luxury. Volvo is that kind of brand, and that's why cost is injustifiable.

Thanks for the insightful and detailed review! I bought a '23 Corsair Reserve, AWD and fully loaded with a $57.5K sticker. My first Lincoln and I am extremely impressed with the interior quality, features, and exterior design. I was disappointed that they dropped the 2.3 engine option but found that the 2.0T and 8 speed work perfectly and this vehicle is a pleasure to drive every day with ample acceleration from a stop and at speed. A very impressive small SUV that seems on par with a Lexus or Audi in terms of quality. I assume that the Q5 or GLC would be slightly more enjoyable / sporty to drive and great choices (although the Corsair is likely to cost less to own especially after several years, and I plan to keep this vehicle for 10 years). The Corsair seems underappreciated in my view. Lincoln does not have the same visibility as other luxury brands but is worth considering.
@GCCarsCA6 күн бұрын
Congratulations on the Corsair! It's a great car. Like you said, the Germans will have a more well composed chassis, but if you don't need sportiness in your vehicle the Lincolns are amazing.

Nice video and yes, the CT5-V Caddy could be called the best car in the world. It's unbelievable what that car can do and how you can custom set it all up. Just amazing.

Been driving i4 edrive40 with M Sport package for 18 months; extremely satisfied. Even did 4500+ km across NL, DE, AT, IT, CH and back over summer. Fun to drive, comfortable and during those trips managed to push even 100+ km over WLTP (managed to hit 650km once on a single charge).

650km is really good! Glad to hear the i4 can outperform its numbers in the right conditions. Definitely a great car!
@awepossum105915 күн бұрын
I wonder if this can be a 200k mile car. The reliability of GM turbos is questionable, and it's a one of a kind car, which means parts are probably not going to be readily available. Also aftermarket parts might be hard to find compared to other platforms.
@GCCarsCA14 күн бұрын
Reliability is always a tough question. I guess if the engine ever dies you'll just have to V8 swap it, ha!

I've owned three Q50s. My current one is a 2024 RS Black Opal. I bought the last one because it is the best-performing and most comfortable AWD grand tourer at its price point. And... this may be the last year we see this model. I've loved every one I've owned and have not had any problems. This 2024 will be a keeper that I baby, while Infiniti (regrettably) put this model to bed. Very soon, the rest of you won't have a viable AWD gas/turbo-powered 4-door performance sedan to choose from. Y'all can have the electric crossovers that will be the soup-de-jour going forward! Gag me! Oh, by the way, the narrative that the tech is no good is simply nonsense. What can't you do with the Q50's tech that you can with the G70? It is just as responsive as the single-screen top-dash-mounted trash that comes on the newer vehicles. The mid-dash, two-screen concept works just fine and is closer to the driver without having to split a screen between your nav and other features. Sometimes, new and shiny bling isn't worth a thing! (Can you tell I'm sick of reviews that just regurgitate the tired narrative on this excellent vehicle?)
@GCCarsCA15 күн бұрын
Glad you're liking your Q50S! Like we said it's a great vehicle for the price if you don't need the latest tech - exactly what you're looking for. So have we not nailed our verdict? And as for your last point. Sure, a TV from the 60s can usually display the same films as a modern TV. But that doesn't mean that a modern 4K OLED screen won't make it more enjoyable to watch in a direct comparison.
@paulycrew15 күн бұрын
@@GCCarsCA Thanks for the reply. Tell us... besides screen resolution and placement, what are the substantive differences between the "tech" in the M340i and the Q50?

Here's an honest consumer review. I'm not a fan of Kia's Niro Hybrid SUV, or its pricing. I was given one as a loaner while the dealership tries to figure out why my 2-week-old Seltos running lights are dim and the inside of the covers are cloudy. Niro's seats are comfy, but it rides rough. You can feel every bump in the road, and it looks and feels boring and cheap inside and out. It reminds me of an old-fashioned station wagon because it's so low to the ground. I prefer my Seltos, but Kia needs to lose the high gloss, black piano trims on all their models. It's beyond bad. I even went up a model to avoid most of it, but what's there always looks dusty, and fingerprinted. There's already light scratches on mine with less than 200 miles on it. Trust me, you will hate it.
@GCCarsCA14 күн бұрын
Appreciate your perspective on the Niro! One can only hope that manufacturers stop using piano black soon... it's terrible.
