The Lincoln Corsair and Mercedes GLC are, surprisingly, closely matched - but which one of the two would you pick? Or would you go for a completely different brand?

GLC with $400.00 oil changes? And German made? No thanks Corsair made in USA and parts are readily available. More physical luxury hands down with Lincoln. Old people car? You’re thinking of Buick not Lincoln.

Thanks for the insightful and detailed review! I bought a '23 Corsair Reserve, AWD and fully loaded with a $57.5K sticker. My first Lincoln and I am extremely impressed with the interior quality, features, and exterior design. I was disappointed that they dropped the 2.3 engine option but found that the 2.0T and 8 speed work perfectly and this vehicle is a pleasure to drive every day with ample acceleration from a stop and at speed. A very impressive small SUV that seems on par with a Lexus or Audi in terms of quality. I assume that the Q5 or GLC would be slightly more enjoyable / sporty to drive and great choices (although the Corsair is likely to cost less to own especially after several years, and I plan to keep this vehicle for 10 years). The Corsair seems underappreciated in my view. Lincoln does not have the same visibility as other luxury brands but is worth considering.

Congratulations on the Corsair! It's a great car. Like you said, the Germans will have a more well composed chassis, but if you don't need sportiness in your vehicle the Lincolns are amazing.

lincolllllllln lololol are you emphasizing the silent L on purpose or just saying it wrong?
@GCCarsCA5 ай бұрын
Just saying it wrong apparently! I'm actually not a native English speaker and was just recently told (after filming this review) that the second L is silent. Won't make the same mistake in future reviews!

Another good video, guys. I think the Lincoln is a pretty good SUV, but it's hard to compete against the Mercedes brand.... personally, I'd go for the Corsair

Thank you! This was definitely a tough choice in the end. Can't fault anyone for choosing either of these two :)

We love our Lincoln Corsair Reserve 2023 at 60k runs beautiful very comfortable. So many features and still learning the Lincoln.

I hate anything that relate to sport or flashy in cars so Lincoln is the best in the segment.

I think you are spot on, nice product, much less sporty ride than any competitor and Lincoln is associated with an outdated old man product. The car is $5-7 thousand overpriced.i did not look at any used but imagine that it would depreciate much faster than its competitors. Like Genesis or even Cadillac, when trying to build or revitalize a brand you have to be very sharp on your price. How many Lincoln’s are they moving? If they are rarely seen, you won’t build your brand that way. Just saying…
@GCCarsCA3 ай бұрын
Yep, they should've went the Genesis route and undercut prices first to reestablish their market share before jacking prices up. This way people aren't likely going to look at Lincolns... that being said we just tested the new Nautilus (review coming soon) and it clocks in at a competitive price and is a genuinely nice vehicle.

Ebony/Cashew interiors are going to keep this an old man’s car in people’s minds.
@GCCarsCA2 ай бұрын
You can spec a black interior as well 👍🏼
@richardlee26422 ай бұрын
@@GCCarsCA That would look great considering the grille and wheels are black. Lincoln has, in the past, made some odd decisions: Asher Grey and Beyond Blue would have looked great together, but that wasn't an available combination. Instead, Sandstone and Cashew could be paired with Asher Grey. U-g-l-y... Then there were all of those chrome grille/black wheel Corsairs which looked as odd as it sounds...

Rundown: it drives like an average $25-30k car should. It's insanely overpriced. The interior is sub-par.
@GCCarsCA5 ай бұрын
I disagree, it's actually quite the compelling product and compares well with its competitors.
