Great to see you out exploring. Lovely and green now - must have been a lot of rain!

Thanks! I quite enjoyed the change of location. There has been a fair bit of rain lately but not enough for the rivers to rise much.

Thanks Dean. My camp spot wasn't too bad. I'm glad I didn't pitch on Arms Tor after all. The Granite Way is worth doing. I'm hoping to do another 2 nighter, as I enjoyed the one I done a few months ago. ATB

Cheers Karl. It is a nice walk. There is one area of a few hundred metres that is not yet cleared but its not a problem. That seating area could make an ideal stealth campspot in a pinch.

Nice one. Sydney's warming to spring, I live close to the Blue Mountains in the west, but with the lockdown how it is the outdoors I'll be seeing will be on a screen. Thanks for this mate. Cheers.

Enjoyed this one Jim , some great old viaducts still looking in great condition . The old concrete hut was a P-way hut were the track lads would take a break and have a brew on the stove that would have been in there. I was on Dartmoor on saturday , up on Swelltor Quarry but just a day walk I have been visiting a mate in Plymouth. I was itching to get out and do a camp the whole place is so beautiful. atb Dave

Cheers Dave. I had an idea that hut was used as a restroom. Thanks for clearing that up. You'll have to come back to do a camp another day! ATB

Great camp site you had there Jim :) I do love that part of the moor, but always seem to camp on the Tors, need to start heading to the low ground from time to time

It was quite a nice spot. Getting pegs in the ground was a bit tricky. I'd go again. Enjoyed the walk on the railway line too. ATB

Nice Cumberland sandwich, Jim! I camped in that spot a couple of years ago. Woke up to snow! Was this on Saturday night just gone? I was up on Mel tor. Wind wasn't too bad considering I was up high. It rained pretty much all night though. Was a good camp

It was on Saturday (14th) and it's not a bad place to pitch. Think you (& someone else) would have enjoyed the sarny! ATB
