Does anyone know anything about Jesse giving his pocket watch to one of the Millers to be handed down to the youngest son...

Interesting that you say Reed had a temper, but neglected to note that Reeds' issue with Keseburg was that Keseburg frequently beat his wife.

I live in a town at the south end of lake Champlain, bordered by Fort Ann and Fort Edward. We have Burgoyne Ave, leading to Saratoga Battlefield. I suppose when it's local, you forget how historic it truly is. Worked as a carpenter on the Fort Ticonderoge restoration about 20 years ago. There's no way of forgetting the historic nature of that though.

Couldn’t cross the river in little boats? Didn’t the Romans build a brand over the Rhein in like 3 days and then disassemble it. That’s pretty shit if an army could t cross a river in damn near 1900

This is EXACTLY what is wrong with this world today, which is there's no action left in life. There's no adventure left in life. Nobody can just go out and explore like we were once able to do. Everyone is so caught up in technology and polotics that it's both absolutely disgusting and terrifying.

September 11, 1777 was the battle of Brandywine Creek. Seems like September 11 became a date to be aware of in any year from the first day of The United States of America.

I'm not a Mormon myself but I love the Mormon friends I've had. My rabbi and cantor where I was schooled both of those mens best friends were Latter-Day Saint Bishops who were their next door neighbors. I found out some history that I shared with them that really made them respect the Latter-day Saints with a lot more respect. I showed them a situation where it had it written down where he was getting the 12 of his Apostles ready to go out this is Joseph Smith who is getting them ready to go out and to evangelize. One of the 12 he sent to Israel to go and give some prayers at the River Jordan to welcome Israelites home this was in about 18 30 1835 or so. And the one who we assigned to do that he had asked him if he wanted to have the books of Mormon to be translated into Hebrew or Aramaic to bring there for him to evangelize the Jews. And Joseph Smith said no you're not going to evangelize anybody. He said Jews have no reason to be converted they are the house of Israel. He said we were Gentiles who became converted into the house of Israel so it's us who have been connected to them they have no reason to convert to anything. When I when I showed them that they were quite taken aback. Especially when you take into account Martin Luther and the other groups out there who are fighting so hard to get people to convert to be to being a Christian. Like I say I I've done a lot of studying I know a lot of Mormon Doctrine a lot more than I do even why I even know a lot in the Christian world as well. Thank you so much for this amazing series you have here thank you.

Just visited Camden in October. Looks like the battlefield is getting a much needed facelift. Right now it's just a bunch of pine trees and a few interpretive signs. I could see the caution tape from where the grave was located. Camden is a great little town!

My Great Uncle was a Direct Descendant of George Washington aka "Warsh" Middleton. He died at Burlington AR, North of Harrison and South of Omaha, AR whilst being Transported by a Bounty Hunter/US Deputy Marshall named Holt, after being Injured in a Shootout down in Newton County. Wash was being Extradited back to Taney County by Mr Holt, for Transport to the Missouri State Penetentiary after escaping the Jail in Forsyth. He was Wounded at Parthenon, and Buried there, but Passed from Wound en Route back to Taney County.
