I just subscribed to the channel because me and my mom love "The Way Home" and we've been watching since the 1st season! season 3 so has been amazing and we cant wait for this Friday :D also i wish they would drop some of the covers they sing and also i feel like that "empty" folder that said important has some invisible writing on it when they were finding out the pond was going to be filled up.

Two older comedies that I love are Some Like It Hot and The Producers (original version, not the musical). My all-time favorite comedy is Airplane, but likely part of that is I was 11 years old when it came out and I grew up watching it over and over.

I just love this show so much!!!🎉🎉 I especially love Kat and Elliot's relationship, theyre so sweet together!!❤❤ As far as theories, my first thought was that it looked like Alice and kid Nick jumping into the pond in the first scene of the season premiere. I know that makes no sense because adult Nick had no idea of the pond, but its just really fun trying to figure everything out each week!!😂

An Unexpected Valentine just needs a different title since I keep conflating it with An Unexpected Christmas and this clearly isn't related in any way. Janel Parrish has put herself into a corner since Sugarplummed was SO good I'm forever going to have very high expectations. As for Hannah Swenson, even I'm about done. Chad the DA absolutely makes no sense; Quantico is the TV cop Bermuda Triangle, but it always spits out another cop, not a DA. I liked when they added Michelle, but Delores keeps getting more bonkers. I can't believe there are still at least TWO MORE coming after this. Someone must have some iron clad contract they're holding over everyone's heads.

The date was absolutely beautiful. Grown up, real and not a duplicate of her last two relationships. Alone time to express their love away from interruptions in such a beautiful setting is far more romantic than a stuffy dinner with candles.

They've been showing S1 on the 3rd channel recently, and it reminds you of how much happier and positive the tone and look of the show's become over time, yet they've managed to keep many things consistent like weaving in new characters (not always successfully) and developing all the relationships.

I truly hope there's a season 4. It's hard enough waiting half a year for the next season when there are only about 10 or so episodes a year. When it was on Sundays, I used to wake up 3 hours before work to watch the show as soon as it was posted online. Now, I get to watch it live sometimes now that it's on Fridays. I like the way this season is answering questions and yet leaving so much open to the imagination. I have never seen a time traveling show with such a unique twist outside of Canada's TV Show "Being Erica", only that show doesn't have time travel for anything other than looking at and examining memories. Unlike other shows where there are so many clips and videos online, everything is pretty much kept a mystery apart from speculation in online forums and KZbin. I have started rewatching episodes online while doing chores and letting the audio play in the background like audiobooks. It's amazing how much I have missed and catch rewatching episodes. I cannot wait for new episodes, so I keep revisiting older ones. I have mild hearing loss and used to keep closed captions on so I could keep up with the dialogue. But, I almost never use it anymore. it's easier to track and hear accurately now for some reason. My hearing is still limited, so that isn't what changed. Either way, I am thankful. I hate closed captions on TV. It covers up important stuff at the bottom of the screen, and small screen TVs cut off the text at the very bottom. Don't know if it's a cable issue or a Hallmark issue, but Hallmark closed captioning isn't formatted in a user friendly way. It's almost as if the person who designed it never consulted someone with hearing loss what is needed and where should the text be placed to be clearer. My dad who won't wear hearing aids misses 30-50% of every word spoken in dialogue on TV. The closed captions are too hard for him to read, and he always asks me what someone said when watch TV. But, this happens even more with Hallmark. It would be great if the could improve the closed captions and give user friendly options. But, at least we have the ability to pause and rewind.

@ the Mother Priscilla was the emotional abuser of Mary and her siblings and the person that allowed them to be abused for Years by the stepfather; the mother also physically abused them on occasion. The grandmother of Mary also did nothing as she stood by and witnessed the degradation of her daughter and grandchildren’s lives. It was a cycle of abuse. It’s a wonder Mary survived mentally and emotionally. Mary Elizabeth Bailey’s book tells it all-My Mother’s Soldier

I’m not convinced that Casey is Alice’s child. We’ll find out more either way with Evelyn’s son Lewis around now. He’ll confirm if Casey is his child or not at some point. But even if Casey is lying about who they are, I actually feel it’s really possible that Casey is Jacob’s child. They showed up to help bring Jacob home and keep the farm for the Landrys, for Jacob to come home to and work on. Especially since it seems like the travelers affect their direct ancestors’ lives the most.

There's definitely a lot more to unpack with the Goodwins. I still don't know how Sam fits into this but I think there's more there. As for Vic, he was an a-hole before Rick died, and I don't know that there's a whole lot more there.

In your notes, Rick socked Vic… Rick was driving and Vic was in the backseat acting up and Rick turned around while he was driving and tried to hit Vic in the backseat and lost control of the car and hit the tree. It seems that you don’t remember Rita, she was in several episodes in season one and two. she is Del’s friend and does the farmers market with her. I can’t remember what it was, but one farmers market. She was grabbing up something from people before they could eat it and taking it away to do something with it.

If that was in 70's, when Alice left the baby, than Evelyn's son could be her son, so Casey could be her grandchild, not child. My theory is that Evelyn never married and after Colton ended with Del, she decided that this is it, and raised the child on her own. Remember, his name is Goodwin - no "fathers" last name, but Evelyn's. Jacob could have inner conflict about Danny, because he thinks that Jacob ended in water that day. And Jacob cannot tell him the truth.

My wife and I are Hallmark movie fanatics. We have the Dish Network DVR but it just could not hold all the movies we love. Fortunately, I learned I could connect two external hard drives to it and now we have an incredible amount of movies we can repeatedly watch. They are truly classics and never tire of watching them. Paul is up there in the top tier of our favorite actors. And with he and Kimberly writing together, a new hit writing team has been created. Just found this podcast….great questions Rachel and a true and honest fan of Hallmark movies.

@@HallmarkiesPodcast I am sooo sorry to hear that. Talk about a catastrophe. I wonder why they would do that. But I am a sitting duck here. If I changed from DISH to another provider I could not watch the movies on the harddrives as Dish uses a proprietary codex and without it, our collection is useless. I am going to try something. The signal coming out of Dish's Hopper has to rescramble the signal to make it watchable on my tv. I think I can connect some kind of recorder between the Hopper and my tv and capture the movies that way. hopefully, it has output to connect to the tv and as we watch the movies, we can record it at the same time. We have a LOT of movies too. I love the discussion you and Paul had about masculinity. I think that many Hallmark movies are of a high quality. I think Hallmark gets a bad rap especially from the "macho' segment of our population. My father in law is an example. He always likes to cite the "formula" in many of the movies. As I agree that there are formulas used, they are well done. So westerns don't have formulas? A bad guy comes into town, causes trouble, the sheriff confronts him, there's a shootout...bad buy problem solved. Hmmmmmm. lol

I’ve just found this! I LOVE this movie - it’s my favourite Hallmark period. Love the Tyler quips through - 1997 you say? You could get that one go/ the whole thing about the ‘performance piece’ and ‘being the first to Admit I’m not a very good actor’ is a scream! Did you notice the look to camera at the end of that sequence? I bet that was improvised and maybe the but when he says she’ll go straight to prison for not taking the call as her reaction was great! From start to finish this definitely has a sprinkling of Hallmark magic all the way through ✨✨

I'm really glad Hallmark listened to the backlash as well. This is a show that is so fan interactive that for half to wait until fall would've been ridiculous and not as fun a fan experience. Now as far as theories go, heck the baby who knows? I think it's too early to make any guesses there. Also, there was some talk that people expected more from the reunion with Del and Jacob. I wasn't underwhelmed but I guess I understand why people wanted more. The thing with this show is since it only has 10 episodes and it can't really linger hence tying up 1814, skipping 9 months, etc.. I know some people loved Thomas so this will ruin those fan pages lol. I really am looking forward to exploring Alice in the past though. I think it'll be interesting to see her with a young Colton. Also yea, who the heck has a 5 year plan at 17? lol

On the time travel, in season 1, Elliott pointed out to Alice that the amount to time she spends in the past is equivalent how much time passes in the present. So they can go back to anytime. if you spend three days in the past 3 days passes for your present time. That’s why Kat was able to go back to time 5 days after Jacob left. And why Elliott was able to go back to see Colton

Great list and thanks for another fun season! I agreed on most. I'd have added Hanukkah on the Rocks though as well. ICAM on differentiating Christmas with the Singhs and Leah's Perfect Gift. In the former there was that gradual warming up so it felt earned at the end whereas with the latter the mom made her feel bad from the beginning, whether it was not unwrapping right, to not throwing the gingerbread house contest, and so on, and THEN in the last 10 minutes we find out she liked her?? I enjoyed and laughed at your analysis more than the actual movie. So thanks again for making the Christmas season fun.

Here is how the pond works.. While in the pond.. Time is concurrent meaning it runs the same. Six days in is like six days out. Now if you are not in the pond and you jump in.. The original book of Port Haven was credited to Samuel Augustine. We don't know who really wrote it. Maybe Susanna did, but couldn't accuse Cyrus in that version. Kat republished the book with the chapter Susanna sent her through the fireplace. Now, that could have been a rewrite of the entire book, or it could have been just a chapter. We don't know that yet. The cover, I think, just says that it includes a new chapter. I think we will see some repercussions about the new book from the current Goodwins, whoever they may be.
