If you drowned you have to have water in your lungs apparently he did BUT pool had chlorinated water NOT normal water ? If had water normal in his lungs where did it come from? Or how did it get into his lungs? Doesn’t get into his body on its own does it? So this account seems to have some kind of validity re witnesses hearing things fits pity they couldn’t see anything or did they?

It always makes me laugh how someone can be fired from their own band. 😂

The idea that Thorogood killed Brian over a minor debt is stupid. There is no credible evidence, that is death was nothing, but an accident is absurd. $8000 pound sterling in 1969 is like $50k today. Anyone in that situation would have filed a lawsuit.

Once Jones was gone the Stones became bigger better and more popular. He had been holding them back. They should have fired him years before they did.

Stones manager? This was obviously a premeditated murder and not by the two men mentioned here. A police cover up at a high level ( M) Odd that he did the soundtrack to a Degree of murder 1967.

I remember this in the newspapers at the time when I was in high school and obsessed with Brian Jones. Probably because of the intruige surrounding his life, his psychology and his... murder. I strongly believe it was murder.

I believe that something very strange happened that night. Maybe there was an argument, they do usually happen when alcohol is involved, and maybe he was pushed or something. Plus money can make people do desperate things

And did Tom Keylocks assertion of a death bed confession make you feel any the wiser?Could be a whole load of baloney for all you know...I reckon the Stones could have been involved in some manner in his death..The timing,of just been thrown out the band...Jones could have taken the band to the cleaners legally...alive,they would have been minus an awful lot of money.

Jones' liver, heart and lungs were shot from a decade of heavy drinking and drug abuse. Had he not drowned that night, his autopsy showed that he would have been dead in a few months anyway.

Brian Jones was a very difficult person to get along with, by all accounts from those who knew him well, by the nature of his personality. He wasn't very nice to anyone unless he could benefit from them in some way. Then he could be manipulatively charming. He contributed very little to the Stones musically and absolutely nothing to their catalog. He couldn't write, he couldn't sing and he couldn't dance. He was an adequate and mediocre guitar player at best. He had the stage presence of a self absorbed goon always looking for and mugging for the cameras. He was a womanizer who fathered at least a half dozen illegitimate children by as many women whom he never acknowledged and abandoned. He was physically violent and abusive to a woman he professed to love. Jones was handed the dream job of being in one of the greatest and most successful pop bands in history, making untold millions before he was 27...All he had to do was play easy rhythm guitar chords to Keith and Mick's fantastic songs and show up on time. He had it all...He was considered a good looking fellow and could enjoy the company of any woman or have anything he wanted in the world and he chose to indulge and to kill himself with drugs and booze instead. Brian Jones was a loser.

Keylock was Thorogood's handler and Brian was murdered by the Stones management with Keith's and Jagger's blessing and that's what I feel intuitively. Now, the guilty have to pay their due Karma.

Rod mentioned a silly story of Mickey wearing a silly coat to funeral he and Woody were attending...Rod didn't allow him to go! With that being said Waller was a powerhouse ...a loose and floppy player that sounded GREAT with Rod

Hi Kris, 'Just read this - It was Krissy Wood's funeral and, as I understand, Art Wood had promised to bring Micky a smart blazer / jacket to wear for the occasion, as Micky did not have such an item in his wardrobe.....Alas, they didn't hitch up before Krissy's funeral started, so Micky kept on his favourite bright blue and pink cycling jacket for the duration of the funeral. When the congregation started to meet up outside, dear Art spotted Micky and said 'Oh Micky, I've got that jacket for you'. Micky mumbled, with his cheeky smile, 'Well it's a bit late now Art....' Then, I believe, the event that you described took place, with Mr Stewart exclaiming something like 'What sort of a jacket is that to wear to a funeral'....I knew Micky and Art well but not Rod Stewart but got the impression that Rod had always looked after Micky with recording work over the years as they had worked together from early days along with Long John Baldry, Jeff Beck and others. Sadly Micky received a call that his Dad was seriously ill back in the UK, while Micky was out in the USA along with Rod Stewart - possibly to continue working together, I am not sure but the end result was that Micky returned home to look after his Dad and that is when Carmine Appiece took over Rod's drum chair - so I believe. 'Glad you brought this up because I always found the jacket story quite amusing and guess it lightened up a very sad occasion for a few moments.... With best wishes and 'hope life is treating you well, Mark Freeman.

Very interesting ! But from playing hundreds of hours of "Clue" when I was a kid in the 60s, I think I've got the experience to come to a firm conclusion: I think it was Col. Mustard who brained Brian with a candlestick in the conservatory. Brian staggered to the pool & fell in.

so Brian Jones wrongly fires you, and you demand money, I believe that's what "COURTS" are for, come on, he was clearly murdered but something bigger at large and I think the UK deep state wanted him gone given they hated the Rolling Stones for the working class symbol and Swingin 60s/London symbolism they embodied. watch these three links kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGq2c3ivi8adpJI & kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4SzhJSoo7aCaqs & kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWHMXqeCgJimo6M & kzbin.info/www/bejne/noiupnicpZeSgas

i watched a good programme about a psychic medium called Tony Stockwell who visited the house and the pool and he was allowed to stand inside the living room to see what he "sensed". He said two men drugged Jones and took him to the pool in a sedated state and put him in the pool face down and apparently a woman was at the window inside the house and saw it all but was too scared to say anything. Definitely murder.
