I was at this gig in darlo , quite simply the best cover band on the planet ! As for mick( fran ) sounding english , hes from daganham essex , about 50 mile from london , where jagger is from , so i imagine he would sound english .i hope they come back up north soon .

It's called 'Theatre' - did you ever go see the show 'Buddy' ? It was good - the stage 'Buddy' did not actually believe that he was Buddy Holly, and the same applies with the Rollin' Stoned Charachters - they just lovingly reproduce a show representing an era of the Rolling Stones career that many hold very dearly in their hearts and are unlikely to see repeated by the originals - particularly Brian Jones.

Interesting that Kidcalabria comments that 'Imitating others is pathetic' - the cynics said the same of the original Stones impersonating Bo Diddley and Jimmy Reed in the early days - it didn't seem to hold them back too much!

Incidentally the Stones have seen this band and think very highly of them. Their Keith met the real Keith Richards' mum and daughter who were also impressed.
