im wondering if its "heatcreep" in the heat break that causes your jams, the k1 has a similar hotend design and ive had my share of frustration caused by "heatcreep"

I just made a 1240 mile roadtrip with my Tesla and we needed toilet brakes more often than the tesla needed charging. So we charged every time we went to the bathroom. Never needed to stop and charge because the car asked us to.

I think everyone goes through "range anxiety" when they first own an EV. I'm no different. When I first got my Ioniq 5, I was afraid to go any farther than work which is only 13 miles each way. After a few months I got very comfortable with the commute and traveling around town so I decided I wanted to be brave and go on a road trip which was a total of 360 miles. I found a hotel at my destination that had complementary level 2 charging and was able to charge overnight and return home easily. Success! (and a rewarding feeling). The next step was to take a longer trip and try out the available charging networks out there, which Tesla - bar none - has the best in the US! Low and behold another milestone and confidence builder achieved! It's been a year since I took the plunge and I would not hesitate to jump in my car and take a trip anywhere in the US with a little smart planning. It's so relaxing and quiet driving my EV over anything else I have owned before. I think the fact that most of the weight is low and centered makes the car handle extremely well. Plus having all that power available to punch out of any bad situation in an instant is so gratifying! 😉

Hey man, I'm trying to build my own exhaustion system so these videos are very helpful and I really appreciate it! But definitely the best thing I got from the video was the song you play for the tests! Damn man, what a beat! Thanks for introducing it to me.

I get it. Alot of people suck at tuning, fixing and thinkering around hardware and software. These new machines are fine for you. But again, don't you dare look down on the ender 3 as this machine in the right hand and with the right upgrade path can absolutely slap back at these machines. The truth is that these new machines cost pennies now and building an Ender 3 from scratch is more expensive unless you get it for dirt cheap or get it free. Thinkering brings back the real ownership of the machine to you. Not the company that made it. Your downfall with the machine was exactly that. Next time my washing machine break i fix it alone with time and youtube. Yall can call customer support.

I wonder if they have fixed the clogging problem. It always baffled me how much of the printer was left for the customer to "tweak". It basically left us to beta test the product. Oddly, while their customer support was outsourced to youtubers looking for content. (not this one though...) So many things stupid desing flaws are/were left to the user who then had to rely on unreliable sources to fix them. I believe we are past the novelty stage for 3D printing where this is an acceptable business practice. Half a year ago I bought a resin printer in the same price range and was amazed how much reliable that machine is. At the same time, it is so well made that I can't see how I could "tweak" the thing. I would be tempted to try the V3, as I was very happy with the V2. However, when I inevitably ran into a problem I could not fix myself, I experienced how utterly useless the Creality customer support is. The machine is now dead and I have nowhere to fix it. And I hate to spend this amount of money on something that could become unfixable.

This comes down to the fact that the cable should not connect to the plate in that manner. The entire machine looks so polished until you look at those connections. They should have an external connector for that cable.

There is no such thing as a functional consumer grade FULL color 3D printer. Even the ones with multi-filament support usually only do four spools at a time and waste most of the plastic.

Got an A1 at launch. Filled out recall form as soon as it was available in February. Got replacement bed in May and installed it a week or two later. Had to remind Bambu another couple weeks after that to get the store credit for doing the replacement myself. Used that credit to take some of the edge off buying an X1C combo, which went on sale for their 2nd anniversary the very next week. Bambu promptly issued another store credit for the difference though. All in all mostly pleased with the entire experience outside the 3 month wait for the new hot bed (TBF they estimated that time exactly on the initial form) and having to remind them to send me that initial store credit.

My replacement bed had a faulty temp sensor - read 5-10 degrees too low, so my bed was consistently too hot. Took me good month to get past tier 1 support and actually have someone take it seriously. Second bed works great, back to printing with this fantastic printer.

Fwiw: For most of the printers we used at work (Ultimaker/MarkForge) I found some cabinets to store filament that have an electric humidity management system. Pretty cool! Worked great and could feed 4 spools, or one big one (10kg spool from matterhackers). Check out StatPro filament cabinets!

The model 3 is fantastic for road trips, I've done several 1000km trips up north here in Finland, and the last one we had between -28°C and -37°C (-35°f) for the whole trip, no issues what so ever! It's a great car for road tripping, and the fact is that if you live out in the middle of nowhere, the tesla is going to make so much more sense, because you'll save so much more on gas since you drive more!

Look at the paramilitary thug vermin that now slouches about as the "British Police force". God they nauseate me. To think of the finely turned out smart and adaptable police that we once had and now to see the dead eyed gun toting thugs that those former proud men & women have been replaced with. Gotta keep the populace frightened after all.

Thank you for being sensible and not using it like they asked while waiting for the replacement part. The amount of "nah bro, it's cool. There's nothing wrong. Any reports of issues are a plot by Prusa," I've seen on this topic the last few months has been so cringe. Companies do not spend the crapton of cash they have to on replacing a part for every one of these they've sold for no reason.

The only time I've had my filament break in the AMS is when the humidity started climbing up a bit or I tried to use filament that really should've been dried first. Now, outside of that, I have seen two issues with the AMS. The first is that the first stage feeders seem to be a bit of a weak link, and the worst part is that Bambu Lab considers it a wear part. So, you'll likely have to pay to get a new one. The second problem is a weird one. If I leave my printer on for some amount of time (not sure if there is a specific threshold), the printer and/or AMS will refuse to read the spool's NFC tag. When I insert a new filament, I just get "?" on the screen. If I restart the printer, it works fine. It might not be as annoying if the X1C started up as quickly as the P1P and P1S do.

i have an x1c that the AP board died 10 days out of warranty. I went back and forth with their support so many times just trying to get them to send me an invoice for one of the few parts they don't sell on the site. It took about 3 weeks to get them to ship a part that was in stock. I didn't even press them to warranty it. Pretty mid.

if it had only 4, it would be relying on clips, which would get brittle and break. Better to have a bunch of screws.

Nice thing about those QR codes that bring you to a website is that when they want to stop supporting it then can just take the website down and force you to get a new printer.

@aventurasdeunmaker

That comment makes no sense. What difference does it make if it is a QR code or a URL? If a company wants to stop supporting a product, it doesn't matter how they provide the support for you, they'll just stop and that's it. The QR codes make it easier on the user and are an extra step for the company (more work).
