I cannot update my macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra on my old 2012 Macbook Pro any longer. I already purchased a new Pro but I would like to use the old one for every day emailing, browsing and such. I am planning to add more RAM to the original 2x2Gb as well. Is there a way to upgrade the operating system to the next one up from High Sierra? Or is it even recommended to try? Thank you.

Bro I can literally you installed version 15 or much later than that version 15.8.3 and I updated it like couple of months ago or should I say over one year and it’s not showing any errors by if there’s anything I’ve been checking it I’ve been checking it for any update and it shows that I’ve updated to the latest version it could be an error or it could be genuinely Haedar I updated to the latest version

If you have an iPhone 6+ which contains an actual SIM card, can you set up the new 15pro max from it with the side by side “learning” from device to device or do you have to use another method? I really want to transfer all my voicemails, texts and photos to the new device without any glitches. Thanks for any guidance on this.

Thanks for this. Dropped my phone but luckily it was in the Otterbox Defender case. However it jarred the sim and my phone stopped recognizing the it. Luckily also I had my ejection tool handy and was able to remove and replace the sim and allow the phone to re-recognize it. Working again - Thank You Jesus, and thank you sir for your post 😃

I have the 14 Pro Plus. For a while I was using the Standby mode set to the "auto off/motion to wake" mode. It was great. The screen would shut off and stay off until I raised my head or waved my arm a bit. Then it would wake up with the dim red display. After not sensing motion it would turn off again. Perfect. I loved it. Then after a few weeks it became intermittent. I spent hours a day for so many days talking to Apple. Some staff were not even aware of the basic function of Standby. They didn't even know of the buttons/setting available in the Standby app. I had to teach them how it worked, or how it was supposed to work given the settings on the screen and given it had been working for me. One tech even argued with me telling me my phone could not possible be doing what it had been doing for weeks even after a screen sharing session during which I showed her it working and the setting available to make it work. Apple Genius my ass! My issue was elevated to all sorts of levels of tech support but no one was ever able to fix it. In fact this went on for so many days/weeks that Apple literally gave up on me. They actually told me that they had no answer to their own software glitch. Thanks Apple. Apple is slowly circling the drain since Steve passed away. Android, here I come.
