So Robin just went ahead and sang Bee Gees songs like he was the only writer without asking Barry? And even sang Barrys leads? Thats very indicative of how he is - screwed up trapped in his own head without regard. Sure go solo, but use your own songs, write more, sing your own leads. I see now where the broken trust comes from. Really sad to see this. I dont think his voice is suited for many of these songs.

I met Maurice shortly before he died. He was staying at a resort in the Bahamas on Paradise Island and he walked passed the outside bar where I was drinking. We were two Brits with 4 yanks and 2 Bahamian barmaids and we were all ribbing each other and having a great laugh. He stopped in the garden just a few feet away from the bar and we didn't really know who he was or that he was observing us. He eventually came over to the bar and stood without ordering a drink and joined us for about 10 minutes before saying he loved the company but had to leave because it "was too tempting". We learnt after who he was and I always regret the fact that we didn't get to enjoy his company because he seemed such a nice person and would have fitted in perfectly. The booze was his weakness and it's sad that it meant he couldn't join in. RIP Maurice.💔
